When we arrived the staff didn't show us around, and seemed to be preoccupied in themselves. There was no kitchen and the food from the bar was average for the price. Breakfast was poor with only toast and coffee, sometimes one piece of fruit. Showers were plentiful and in good condition!! Internet kept cutting out, very poor... We ended up staying next door which had better facilities and value for money!!

Probably the best hostel in Isla Mujeres, we enjoyed every second and would definetely come back. Security can be a little uptight

The place is great to stay even had live music every night, great atmosphere. My only issues are they charged for hot water/cold and there was bed bugs. Fortunately I never got bitten but met others who had. the mattress should changed. Over all I recommend the hostel.

I liked the evening bar and drink token. It was a nice environment to meet people. I also really enjoyed the DJ Adrian and his music he played. It was a a good stay in general. I would love to come back!

Good location near the beach. But i feel this hostel could be much much better. I came here based on rave reviews expecting great atmosphere etc but i left disappointed. Staff are really dismissive and extremely rude. They seem to love dismissing people with sarcastic stares/ eye rolls if you dare ask a question. Poc na staff... You are really not as cool as you think! My dorm was fine. Good storage but I did get bitten by bed bugs. There are much cheaper rooms to be found in the guesthouses.

The hostel was in a great location and offered a ton of great classes every day. The yoga class was amazing! The beach bar was also tons of fun. This hostel was very well organized and has clearly been in business for a long time. I would definitely go back if I were to stay in Isla Mujeres again.

The place has so much potentional but the staff are so cold, rude and unhelpful. They seem to resent foreigners who don't speak Spanish. I had bed bugs and the lady didn't believe me and told me to go and get the sheets, I refused twice. When asking about breakfast the man didn't even look up and just pointed to the kitchen. When I was standing at reception wanting to ask a question the girl was stamping things and didn't acknowledge I was there for over a minute. Seems like I was bothering her!

Felt like a hostel that's definitely in it for the money (see: no outside alcohol, must purchase from their bar). 1/2 of the staff seemed to be a little bothered to have to deal with customers. The other 1/2 were nice. Great live music in the hostel for the two nights that we were there. The beach out back isn't swimmable, but it's only a 4 block walk to Playa Norte which is where everyone else swims.

Poc na is a beautiful, fun, party beach hostel. I met some very cool people and had a really fun time. Great location (well, everywhere is a great location on such a tiny island). The room was very small, but it was what I paid for... Lots of backpackers and travelers. If you're on Isla Mujeres, 100% stay at Poc na.

How can it be possible that the staff is so unfriendly in such a perfect hostel?

This is a hostel with a great vibe and staff who know how to have a good time. The facilities are great and the beach bar provided many good nights. My only complaint would be that the air conditioning in the room was broken so sleeping wasn't the best. Overall though, thoroughly recommended!

Really nice hostel. Located right on the beach and close to the mainly street. Everynight they have a live band playing and later on a party at the beach bar. Pretty safe, helpful staff, day activities... The only bad thing is about the bartenders... not sure if they are part of the staff but they are really arrogant. and they don't have hot showers (at least in the dorm I stayed) I would come back there for sure, highly recommend!

Seriously one of the best hostels that i've ever stayed at, cheap, great food and great facilities the only down point about the hostel was the dodgy wifi, and the staff (particularly the men) weren't very friendly. Otherwise all good and i really enjoyed my stay!
