Poc na Hostel Reviews

Great hostel, within walkng distance of Playa Norte. Staff are really nice and the hostel is well run. The dorms next to the common area can be a bit noisy but the staff are more than happy for you to switch rooms, subject to availability.

I had a small experience with bed bugs, but changed beds and sheets and they didn't appear again, so just lucky I guess. Noone else seemed to have them either. But it is a fun place to stay as long as the weathers good.

The Internet at Pocnet sucks. I was not able to connect or the connection did not last more than few minutes. Terrible. This is not hostel's fault but I lost my pen and retractable pencil from the room, perhaps some guest took it by mistake. The water management in rain is not adequate, the slopes let the water pool.

enjoyable stay, the food was overpriced and not the best. overall pretty good. Although Poc Na has a monopoly for youth visiting isla mujeres they dont dissapoint.

Rooms cleaned daily and air con rooms fantastic. Great entertainment every night and good value for drinks.

You will fit right in at Poc Na if you are a beautiful, unfriendly European or enjoy spending time with beautiful, unfriendly Europeans. I was traveling alone and felt that it was very cliquey. Perhaps if I had been with friends it would have been better. I ended up leaving a day early. The complementary breakfast is toast and coffee, FYI.

Great location, near a very divine beach. beach party every night. Very big hostel, so also attracts big groups, and as usual, the Israeli groups dont like to interact...

Great hostel. People had recommended it to me and it lived up to it's reputation. Very busy and was great for meeting people. Some people have comlained about the cleanliness, but I thought it was fine. Had a fab time.

Definitely a hostel for some and not for others. The hostel is mostly those of travelling culture, . If looking for meeting a lot of travelers and a party that lasts until well past midnight, then I recommend it.

Poc na is a good place to meet people - the bar is great and the beach is really close by. However, I got major bed bug bites there and the staff didn't seem too concerned or sympathetic about this as I didn't even hear an apology. Will not be going back here.
