Gorgeous place, like a house, great courtyard, great atmosphere and it engenders lots of easy chatter with all guests. Super super Super friendly staff, genuinely friendly and happy to help, relaxed, lovely place! Security great. Lovely location near pocitos beach, close to a local market that was great- we saw that on a Wednesday. Great food, great tips from staff, and they were lovely and really nice and helpful. Can't top it yet!

Os donos e funcionários são muito simpáticos. Bairro tranquilo. Fácil acesso à Cidade Velha e à rodoviária. Ótimo custo benefício.

It´s an ok hostel, unless your room faces the inner garden that gets very noisy until very late. They could also invest in some mosquito nets, I was food for the mosquitos for 2 nights. Also having some hooks in the bathrooms would be nice, there´s almost no place to put or hang your stuff.

Y'all are the best and made my random weekend in Uruguay the best it could be. Couldn't have had a better experience in a hostel in regards to staff, food, friends and fun. beijos pra todosssss.

Noise from downstairs lounge space carries to dorms, but I'm not much bothered by noise.

Pretty good hostel

Very nice place to stay in Montevideo, we enjoyed a lot. Just need more good bathrooms, and some rooms need air-conditioner. The staff is really good, and situated in Pocitos, a amazing neighborhood.

I had a wonderful time staying at Pocitos Hostel and would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling in Uruguay, Montevideo. You couldn't ask for a better location and the hostel itself was great!

i stayed there for 2 nights arriving for a long weekend. i really enjoyed being in a small hostel with this delicious barbecue and the beautiful little garden in the backyard. the staff ist THE BEST. very friendly, helpful and like your brother ;). the location is great, 10 min walk to the one beach and 2 min to the other pocitos beach.

We used a private room in the basemet. Felt a bit stuffy and the windows were very small, overlooking the stairs or pavement. It was decent enough though and we spent two nights there. I could return there if I no other hostel was available, but frankly speaking the basement feeling of the room, would make me want to check other hostels in Montevideo.

WONDERFUL HOSTEL AND A AMAZING STAFF.

The staff are very friendly esp. the French girl - Hermonine who normally works in the morning shift. She is very helpful and takes good care of all the guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable and secured. Its location is superb. Great place to stay. I will recommend to all travellers and will go back if I were to go back to Montevideo again.

The bathroom upstairs was not really clean. It also does not provide you with any privacy. There are bathrooms with some privacy downstairs, but there are just two of them. This place is nothing special. Montevideo itself is also not a place i would recommend.

A good hostel if you want to have a good sleep. Staffs are very helpful. Suggestions: (1) To enhance the direction and methods to the hostel from the bus terminal. The direction given in Hostel World is too simplified. I have difficulty to locate bus 183 at the bus terminal. (2) The breakfast is sufficient and good but could be improved in terms of presentation.
