Pocitos is in a really good and safe location. You can cycle to the old town in 40 mins along the promenade which is great and is only a 5 min walk from the beach. it also close to the bus station Tres Cruces, which is very handy,

A nice little hostel. It was like staying at someones house. Located close to Pocitos beach but also only a half hour or so walk to the old town or there are plenty of buses if you prefer. Breakfast wasn't bad, the staff were nice enough and the place was kept clean.

We had a nice stay at Pocitos. Although their directions via bus were a bit off, that probably comes down to English translation. Taking Bus XX "to" Carretas is COMPLETELY different than taking Bus XX Carretas (opposed to Bus XX Zonamerica). Neighborhood was good. Hostel was definitely a social hostel. There was a gal's birthday and there was a party there one of the nights. Got a little rowdy. Staff was helpful with our needs. We'd definitely come back!

A few blocks from the sea shore. Quiet neighborhood. Basic breakfast. Lot of tourist information available. Nice chilling room.

Really enjoyed this hostel. Staff were brilliant, made me feel right at home. At first the location didn't seem great, the city centre was a good distance away. But once settled the location was the best part. ther'es a beautiful beach beach less than 5 minutes from the hostel. A regular bus runs from nearby so getting into town isn't a problem. For those that like a stroll you can follow the beach straight into the old town. Takes over an hour but its worth it!

Great comfortable hostel, like being back at home. Good location from the beach with loads of nice places to eat. The rooms downstairs are better as the ones upstairs are noisy due to wooden floors. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

I had an excellent time at Pocitos hostel. The staff is really great and the hostel is really a cozy place. The Pocitos area is much safer than the center, which was really important to me, but it does take an hour walk or a 20 minutes bus ride to get to the city center, where most of the cultural/sightseeing stuff are. It was a bit cold in the room and in my last day, probably because the hostel was full, there was not hot water in the morning.

This place was the bomb. The friendly staff, the awesome hangout room and lovely yard made this a great location. It's a little ways away from the Old City, but the bars in the Pocitos area are great, as are the restaurants, and this hostel's location is prime. They even have a BBQ grill in the back yard, if you feel up for it.

Great location, close from the beaches and best hostel staff I have met so far in south America! They're very knowledgeable about the city and what to do around or you can chill with them in the common area, highly recommended for people travelling alone!

Great location near Pocitos beach, the staff were wonderful. They could do with bigger 'lockable' lockers, everything else was fantastic!

I spent only one night in Pocitos Hostel, however had a great experience! Daniela who attended me was great and had a good knowledge about the city and tips to give! She was very thoughtful! I thought the place was clean and since was not crowded the bathrooms were ok! I believe on crowded season must be hard Ro use the bathroons since there are not so many,

Very well located, helpful and friendly staff, clean and cosy but the one huge drawback is that they don't take credit cards

Fantastic hostel! The staff is awesome, all super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The hostel itself is very clean and well-organized. I really appreciated that there were fans and plugs by each bed. There's plenty of common space which made it easy to meet the other people staying there and the garden outside was great to hang out in. The location is fantastic, safe area with lots to do and right by the beach. I had an amazing time staying here and would definitely recommend it!

There are just 2 bathrooms for 3 rooms (one of them a dorm with many beds). So it's hard during the morning or the bath time when they are occupied all the time. They accept only cash (dollar - we didn't know it) and we had lots of problems to get the money. Besides that, it's a good place to stay.
