A good hostel if you want to have a good sleep. Staffs are very helpful. Suggestions: (1) To enhance the direction and methods to the hostel from the bus terminal. The direction given in Hostel World is too simplified. I have difficulty to locate bus 183 at the bus terminal. (2) The breakfast is sufficient and good but could be improved in terms of presentation.

Pocitos Hostel is a really good place to stay at Montevideo. It has a very friendly staff that helps you in all your needs. I put only good at the location question only because you need to use the bus/car to go downtown. But Pocitos neighbourhood is a nice, secure and quiet place. And the hotel is only a few blocks from the Rambla and the beach!

It is the most 'quaint' little casa, in a very beautiful barrio (suburb) of Montevideo. The staff are very very friendly. It was a great introduction to Uruguay. When I come back to Uruguay, I'm definitely coming back to stay!

A very nice little hostel and a good choice for Montevideo. Breakfast was adequate. staff were very friendly and helpful, the kitchen was very well equipped and the sunny garden made my stay even more pleasent. My only slight negative comment is that the communal area wasn´t very big and when the hostel was full it was quite crowded.
