Fantastic hostel, brilliant staff, cosy kitchen and social living area. One of the best I´ve ever been to, it´s easy to make friends and the staff are keen to integrate you with other travellers. Thank you Ian, Chris and Ian for such a wonderful stay '- never to be forgotten!

This was my second visit here, and although brief, reinforced this as one of my favourite stops across Europe. Very relaxed environment, with lots of information available. Freindly, funny and helpful staff. If you want a good place to relax during the day, still enjoy going out for drinks and/or dancing/partying in the evening, see beautiful architecture, fountains, gothic cathedral, etc, etc, etc, This is one of the best. Not a party hostel, but a good place to just enjoy life.

What a nice surprise to find such a good hostel \"off the beaten track\" .... very friendly and helptul! The whole staff Austratian, Scot, etc. extremely helpful. I\'ve stayed in 75-100 hostels and this one ranks right up there! only downside is climbing all the stairs, but worth it. Greg

Quite in te center, really friendly staff and a lot of information about the city and the country. There's a kitchen and free tea and cofee. the hostels is near some good clubs and bar

Everything was perfect. The staff is exceptional.

Best hostel I've ever stayed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is perfect, easy to find. Great kitchen, beds, baths/showers. Towels provided. The climb to the top of the building to get there is completely worth it. It is the treasure at the top of the mountain!!! If you are passing through or staying for sometime in Olomouc, the Poet's Courner is the place to stay.

Fantastic little hostel in a great city! Ian (the owner) provided an extensive list of tips & things to see in the city and I spent a great 2 days working through it. Hostel was clean, staff were very friendly and if I'm ever back in Olomouc I know where I will be staying. Cheers!

I can't fault this hostel. I arrived and was made to feel instantly welcome. I was given a persoanlised map of Olomouc and Ian took the time o go through what's in the area. There is a wealth of books on the area and also other areas. You're always welcome to sit and chat with the owners or go out to dinner or for beer with them. This is one of the best hosels I've stayed in in the last 5 months of travelling.

This was a really great experience, the owners are very hospitable, the place has a lot of personnality and we feel very comfortable. The atmostphere is really warm, I recommend you this hostel!!

Das Hostel liegt im 4 Stock ohne Aufzug, gut erreichbar mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmiteln. Und oben fühlen Sie sich wie zu Hause. Reinhard NOwak
