I paid for 10% deposit and a service charge for booking for a 3 bedroom but I did not get the room I want and we had to split up. I was given a so called discount of USD1.50 for 3 nights stay but my deposit of USD2.40 is not counted i.e. I actually paid USD0.90 more. It is not about money but principle and also trusting Hostelworld reservation system... now I am disappointed with Hostelworld. Great place with extremely friendly staff + really helpful with travel arrangements. Adding the free pickup, the atmospheric roof top veranda and the good location I will definitely come back to this place.
