Port Campbell Hostel

Before we begin, we want to tell you about a couple of deals we have stitched together with some of our local traders, that bring you incredible value for the things you want like cheap drinks, food and fuel.

Firstly, working in conjunction with our local pub we have concocted a deal that provides you with a classic evening meal - a HUGE chicken parmy (chicken parmigiana) along with a glass of icy-cold Aussie beer plus a Friday night stay in one of our 4-bed dorms, for the bargain-basement price of $40.00! Secondly, throughout the month of May we have worked with five other local businesses to bring hostel guests eye-wateringly fantastic bargains for cheap drinks, meals and fuel. Some Ts and Cs apply, so ask about those when you check in.

Now...

Rather than us waxing on about our place using advertising puffery, we let previous guests show you what we are about. And to help with that, we have summarised hostelworld guests reviews left over the last couple of months below. Through their words you can read the good, the bad and (sometimes) ugly things about our hostel. (And can, of course, read each review in its entirety under the Reviews tab, should you wish).

Malte, who stayed in early April, said we were the cleanest hostel he has stayed at. Similarly, a young German guest wrote that we are nice and clean, and close to the 12 Apostles. (How close? 12km). And while a South African guest loved our free 1-hour WiFi, Pavel the Bulgarian struck a few issues getting the WiFi to work when he stayed. (If that takes place, ask our reception for help.)

An English guest said we were a really nice place to stay, but reckoned it would be difficult to get out and see the sites if you did not have a car. To help get over that, we rent mountain bikes at great rates so guests can get out and explore our local coastline. (She also found some of our flies to be a little annoying).

An English couple who stayed mid-March found the hostel to be close to Port Campbells cafes and restaurants, and just off the Great Ocean Road. (How close are we to the Great Ocean Road? It runs right through the middle of Port Campbell). A guest from the US felt we were eco-friendly, and a guest from Thailand loved our location, our clean rooms, big kitchen and our large dining area.

A group from Australia said that we were an ideal stopover on their flying trip along the Great Ocean Road. And a Kiwi guest found her host to be excellent.

Finally, a couple from India who stayed in early March liked our location (we are a 2 minute walk from the Port Campbell Bay) and found us to be clean and quiet.

So, those are some of the thoughts from guests who have recently stayed and we hope they help give you an idea of how we roll.
