The staff was so kind, and we extremely helpful in telling us where to go. It is extremely close to the German. A little bit of a walk to The Baha'i Gardens, but they were able to show us the fastest (and cheapest) alternative routes.

Really helpful on carparking; a bit churlish in the morning about us not using the automatic coffee machine after hours - we had saved them money by not having breakfast, so a takeaway coffee would not have been unreasonable. But, overall, really good, friendly help.

The Port Inn had a great atmosphere and was kept very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and I definitely plan on coming back again. The only concern was that our door didn't lock for our specific room. I was only there for one night though so I didn't bother asking to switch rooms, but I am sure I could have and they would have helped.

There should be locks on the doors. In the middle of the night, some drunk guys wandered into our female dorm and turned the lights on and were super loud. And I was scared that my things would get taken..

Rent of towels is 10 shekel each. We stayed in a dorm and the bathroom didn't have a key so we couldn't lock the door which was the worst thing about the hostel. A part from that it was great.

This was a really nice p;ace to stay and I would definitely recommend it. The location is absolutely perfect - very close to the sea and train station. The staff were exceptionally helpful (we were seen by a red haired young lady with glasses) and showed us more than we could imagine, she really impressed us. Her English was outstandingly good. The facilities were great too - super fast internet and 3 new computers in the computer room as well as a clean kitchen. Lovely room/wc,

Being a guest at Port Inn was an awesome experience. It is a great option for knowing Haifa without running short on resources. The hostel is conveniently close to famous spots, which makes the meander all the more swift!
