Great Place and even better Staff. They were super helpful. We totally recommend this place.

Very very friendly staff, nice outdoor garden, great for relaxing while drinking a good beer. Pleasant lounge area with Sat-Tv and a small kitchen is also available for guests. I slept in the large mixed dorm (9 beds), room is ok but toilet and shower are very tiny. There is a larger WC-shower on the same floor, so it's better to use this facility. Hostel is very close to Haifa train station (Merkaz Hashamona), a 5-min walk, only 10min walk to German Quarter. Very good place to stay, recommend.

Not the cheapest one, but definitely the cleanest and roomiest I had in Israel.

Port Inn is a nice hostel, conveniently located nearby a bus and a train station and close to the metro to Mount Karmel and several shops. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The hostel has a nice garden and living room. Some negative points are the lack of lockers and the fact you can't lock the dorm rooms. Breakfast is not included and overpriced. The kitchen is pretty small too.

A good cosy hostel in an excellent location not far from the railway station. Lovely courtyard out the back. It has the feel of a home about it. Easy to meet other travellers. Breakfast is expensive but there is plenty of it. Staff are very helpful. Only downside is that there are no lockers.

The rooms and the common spaces are comfortable. All the staff is very kind and helpful. The first day I couldn't arrive at the hostel while the reception was open because of the trouble of the flight but they kindly waited for me until very late at night. I'd booked a bed in a female dormitory but at the first night they let me sleep in a room where there's no one else not to disturb the people sleeping in the dormitory. It was comfortable for both them and me. Good consideration.

The Port Inn is a bit more pricey that your average hostel but it has a beautiful garden to sit out in and a great location.

The staff, especially the owner Rachael, could not have been nicer. She radiates concern and caring for her guests. She is in short, a lovely Israeli mother to those who stay at the Port Inn.

We absolutely loved port inn! Everything was very clean, the staff super friendly and helpfull. When we arrived we were explained how to get around in haifa and all about then ' must see's '. Over all we enjoyed our stay very much.

Pros: Very good location - just 5 minutes on foot from train station - so it makes Port Inn very good point to see other cities in north Izrael ( Akko, Nazareth, Rosh hakran etc ). Very close to bus station to Nazreth and 24h groceries. Staff are very helpful

Overall this was a great hostel. Good location (can walk or take subway to Bahai Gardens), pretty clean, and extremely helpful staff (they spent a lot of time helping me sort out my questions, and they were very friendly and polite). Only real downside was there were a lot of old people staying in the hostel, but that's something that obviously can't be controlled. Also a con that the common area closes at midnight, but it's very pleasant when open. Also, great wifi (can stream)
