Porta Vescovo B&B Reviews

Well, everything was perfect. The Porta Vescovo BB atmosphere is very good. Good localization, near from the attractions and from the train station. The bed and the breakfast are fantastic. We felt very well received and I definitely recommend there.

The owner was super nice and helpful. The hostel itself was also very nice and clean. Only downside is that it is not in the center of town and sort of hard to find. The directions given could be a bit more clear.

Paula was an extremely nice lady, and her dog Milky was adorable. The place itself was also adorable, very clean, and a pleasant stay. A little bit far from the tourist attractions, but the walk wasn´t too bad and there were a variety of busses.

The hostel is very very beautiful. And the breakfast is delicious!

Excellent breakfast, clean and charming woman

This B&B was wonderfull! We loved our stay very much. Clean rooms. The welcome was fantastic. When you wake up at Paola, you wake up with a smile. Nothing is to much for her and she gives you very good tips about travelling with train. Train station at 10 minutes walk and the centre of Verona at 20 minutes walk, very easy. And then there was Milky, who we loved from the first time we saw him :-). We would recomend this B&B to everybody!! Good job Paola Shana and Geert from Belgium (22/10/2011)

The owner Paola is really nice! She helped us getting to the hostel when we arrived at the train station, gave us the city map, told where the things were and asked about the time we wanted breakfast. The room was very clean and organized (as was the bathroom). When we woke up there was a really good breakfast full of options on the table (breakfast is great!). The hostel is beautiful and has a kitchen where you can use the mircrowave (there a supermarkt 5 minutes walking). Great place to stay!

If you like familiar atittude, B+B is the best choice for you. Paola easily becomes your friend and she wants you to feel like at home. I really enjoyed my stay there.

I can just say the place was perfect, the ROOM, the BATHROOM and the little KITCHEN were CLEAN and VERY NICE. The owner treated us very nicely and helped us with tips and suggestions. BREAKFAST was also AWESOME! Position is not really in the centre, but you can still easily reach it. Surroundings may be a little bit creepy at night tough they are still safe so no need to worry! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! If I come back to Verona, I'll go there again for sure!!

Paola is like a mother, she made our holidays easier and happier. Thanks, Paola! The house is ten minutes walking to the center of the city and five minutes to the railway station Porta Vescovo. Breakfast in the B&B was delicious and prepared with love. We will go back again.

This little B&B was quite good. Location was within walking distance of the old city. Red bus tour was the best way of seeing the city. Paola was very nice and a good hostess. The little backyard was nice to sit and have drinks in. Rooms were good, breakfast was basic but ok.

My boyfriend and I have just come back from 4 nights in Porta Vescovo, and we are so, so happy that we chose to stay here! The guesthouse itself is in a really great location for getting into the city centre - about a 15 minute walk, but very easy to navigate around - and in a really charismatic and pretty area. The guesthouse itself is really pretty, colourful and clean. And lastly, Paola is so friendly and helpful, we were so happy to have met her! Thank you Paola (and Milky!) for a great stay

Paolo and Milky are lovely. We had a beautiful breakfast everyday, and were given all the help we could want in finding things to do. The most beautiful place we have stayed in on this trip. Paolo even gave us a lift to the station because the taxis were too busy. Thankyou so much.

Our experience in this hostel was great ! Excellent staff ( Paola) is a really great person ! This hostel is a BB & B , Bed , Breakfast and Bath ( It was so good !! ). You will feel like in your own home !! Localization is good very easy to get to the city centre ! We recommend this hostel !

Firstly, the hostess, Paola was amazing - very friendly and welcoming and even said that there was no rush for us to give her any money. She also gave us information about the place we were visiting after Verona for free. Great! The breakfast in the morning was also very nice in the pleasant kitchen. The room was clean and very well furbished, as was the whole apartment. The bathroom had a nice shower and a bathtub jacuzzi. Would definitely recommend and stay there again! Thank you, Paola :D

If you don´t mind staying in a B&B this place is good. Altought is not close to town and it takes a good 20-25 min to walk to town. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

the apartment was very nice, clean and you can find there many guides, maps and books about city. location is very good, it´s only little bit hard to find for the first time. our host was very nice to us and helpful and prepared an excellent breakfast!

I loved this place! It has 2 bedrooms and is so clean and nicely done I wish we could have stayed longer. It would be a great place to rent out both rooms and stay with friends as there is a kitchen, large bathroom, and sitting area. The owner is great too. She is very friendly and cooks a great breakfast for you in the morning. You can tell she really wants you to have a good stay. I will definitely stay here again.
