Neighborhood is dangerous and empty as it is a commercial zone. There are lots of hookers and travestites at night. Staff is very good. Gabriela and Marlon were very friendly and helpful but the owner does not seem very friendly and can be quite grumpy. As there was a huge storm on my 2 days at the hostel, my evaluation has to take into account the lack of water, electricity and Internet which may not be a total responsibility of the hostel but affects the way I see it and recommend it or not.

On our arrival, we were told that our reservations were not received. Unfortunately, it was a busy day (a concert was going to happen). They found a room for us. Some misuderstanding happened, because on the website the towels were included on the price (not anymore), and the owner threatened to not accept us, it was a weird situation. In the end they gave us a private room, really clean, the bathrooms were clean as well. Location is good, 30 minutes walking from the historic downtown.

Nice staff in a very nice hostel. Close to the airport, mall and bus station but also in the red light district.

A nice and quiet place. Since the city is expensive, in this place the money you paid is worth it. Also the staff is very nice, and there is a shopping mall very close, what is very convenient.

This hostel was nice but nothing special. The decor was new and modern but that is all that stood out for me. There is no oven in the kitchen and only two burners (one with a broken handle) so you always had to wait to use the burner. If I came back to Porto Alegre I would stay closer to downtown but it was within walking distance from the bus station which is nice if coming in and going out by bus.

really nice place with helpful and freindly stafff, well located for the bus staion and not so far to be out of walking distance to the city centre.Everybody here was nice and the place was spotlessly clean

Very clean and well presented hostel. Staff were lovely, breakfast was great and the rooms were super clean and well kept. This is definitely a hostel you would want to stay at during your travels into Porto Alegre.

I recomend and next time in trip to POA I will go back there.

Cannot believe the specifically advertise having a laundry service and then DO NOT have one. Felt pretty pissed off about that. Also FYI this hostel is on the same street as the hookers of Porto Alegre. That said so long as you take a cab (and they are cheap) this place is a neat way to be close to the action without paying the price for staying there.

The hostel is very well located, the breakfast is fantastic and the staff helped a lot. Really Recommend!

Only stayed there for 1 night but, the breakfast was good, dorms and bathrooms were very clean. However my shower was cold. Staff were also very friendly. Overall very good hostel

I was really surprised when I came into the hostel, everything is brand new and clean, compared to the location and weird neighborhood. They have a bruscheteria and cafe inside, but it seems that something is missed (once it is so far of bars, cafes and restaurants). Staff is ok, but a bit confused, not sympathetic at all, nothing further their obligations, no smiles. Hostel was empty, I was the only one in the dorm but was charged a whole night because I was 20 minutes late for check out. I don't think I'm

There was nothing wrong with my stay but the hostel is not in a great location unless you are just there for one night due to it being close to the bus terminal. There is no real atmosphere and it is almost more like a hotel than anything else. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very good beds, everything was clean and tidy and the chocolate cake served in the breakfast was delicious!!!

The only negative experience was the breakfast, which was unimaginative and unappealing -- I would give it a score of 1 out of 10. I would have liked fresh coffee and a selection of Brazil's lovely tropical fruits to help myself to instead of a tiny portion under cling film. And fresh bread rather than processed sliced bread, which is tasteless. Otherwise the hostel scored very highly in my view -- 9 out of 10 overall!

Everything but location was surprisingly good. Only bad point is the neighbourhood, mainly at night.

a bit hard to sleep because people mad noise in the room but this isnt really the hostels fault

It lives up to it's name of boutique with monogrammed towels, soap and sheets. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Was lent an adapter as mine didn't fit. Outside the hostel are "ladies of the night" touting for business who bring noisy friends with them. Besides that the hostel is pleasant enough. It was a short taxi ride from the bus station.

Beatiful hostel, good location, just opened so everything is brand new. Staff is welcoming a gives you cool tips about porto alegre. Night in the city is great. Definetely i will come back
