Great hostel, perfect location, nice staff, however included breakfast was poor.

We really enjoyed our stay in Porto-Alive hostel. The staff was so nice, they took the time for us and answered all our questions. The hostel was very clean, and the rooms were simple but all you need in a beautiful city like Porto. We also loved the tour the hostel offered us. Friday night dinner in the hostel is something they really have to continue doing. Suggestions for improvement: a better curtain to keep out the light from the hallway and more comfortable matrasses. Overall loved it!

Great place, beautifully decorated and in excellent location.we stayed in an indoor room with a window facing the corridor and were woken up in the middle of the night by the light and people leaving the hostel.There were some flooding problems in the bathroom and the corridor was left wet the whole night through.We also had to ask for toilet paper twice, although we only stayed for one night.Alltogether a nice place but staff could have been more proactive.

It is new and very clean. The wifi is good, the breakfast is ok. I enjoyed my stay there.

The hostel people were so understanding and caring, even to small details. Thats the be the thing I will remain greatfull to them. Location is at the center offering easy access to almost all the tourist spots and communication to anywhere of Portugal through, bus, Sao bento train station, Sao bento metro(within city). It was a very good experience; and because of their cooperation, I extended a day more to my Porto trip. Cheers!

The hostel is very well located and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are confortable and the showers are just great!!! The breakfast is also very good and my stay was very great.

The hostel is a kind of start-up hostel in Oporto. Newly recruited staffs and inteligent owner reminds me the atmosphere of venture corporation. Location is great and prices are lovely. What the excellent is cleanliness. However, there are some points which are not polished in their hostel service. I think those points are still in the progress of improvement. Staffs are helpful and I didn't feel any inconvenience to stay here.

Great location close to the river Douro, Ribeiro strand, Eiffel bridge and Sé Chatedral. Right in the heart of the old city. Lovely atmosphere with the fantastic staff hosting dinners for guests, with local dishes and wines. Great international atmosphere. Highly recommended!
