The directions Form trinade Station could be explained a little better. We had a room facing the square in front and we did not have one quiete night it was very noisy until early in the morning. I guess for those who like to party a lot this is perfect. Other than that the hostel is good.

Located really close to the center just few steps away and nice staff :)

I know it may be for hygiene, but it would be nice to have soap and shampoo on the showers instead of having to carry your own all the way to the hostel.

Very nice hostel. A bit hard to find, but very well located in the city, we did everything by walking! The atmosphere is great, very friendly, they have a nice common area with couch, guitars and games. They have activities organised such as walkng tours (that I totally recommend) and pubcrawls (I recommend also if you're up for a little partying). And even with the pubcrawl and the location it is very quiet at night. Perfect place to stay. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!

The wifi was quite slow and the signal was non-existant in the upper-floors (2nd). However, the hostel has incredible location and facilities, even offering a free breakfast and free guided tours starting there. Right in the party area, perfect at night. We will probably come back, thanks!

Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff! The room was spacy enough and had a good view from the balcony. When our booking had already ended, we were allowed to keep our suitcases secured in the hostel while spending the day out in the city. A very friendly and relaxing hostel to stay! And definitely value for money. Thank you! :)

This is one of the best hostel that I have been lived in. Cheap price with a high quality breakfast, clean places and convenient location. However, the place may be too noisy even in the midnight because there are many bars just siutated in the opposite side.

The staff that works the day time struggled with English, so it was hard to get recommendations for what we were looking for specifically. The kitchen area was great and clean, but the showers were not. There was like black mold in the grout and on the ceilings. The drains are clogged. There are lamps on all of the beds for show, but ours didn't work. Didn't keep soap dispensers full for two days and when it had soap, it was watered down. Towels they provided were crunchy. Wifi extremely spotty

It's a too simple Hostel to a "Hostelworld Recommendation". But good location and it is clean enough to a good stay.

Great hostel. The staff is very friendly. Location is excellent and close to bus stop for airport. Only con for me was that the hostel is smack in the middle of downtown and I was on ground floor, which means it was not quiet in the dorm, especially because Portuguese people love to party until 5am. Falling asleep if you are trying to catch an early bus/train could be challenging.

Awesome hostel - central, friendly and helpful staff, a free breakfast, stylish design, the rooms have lockers, individual lamps and small baskets for your own stuff in the bed. Clean, great kitchen, a nice window view. Great value for a cheap price. All the hostels in the world should learn how to run a hostel by looking how its done in Portugal. Book it :)

Generally a very good and decent hostel. The best thing is the breakfast. The hostel prepared cheese and ham sandwich for each of us.

Porto DownTown Hostel is a great place for anybody. It´s friendly atmosphere allows you to relax and their large lounge area promotes conversation and meeting new people. If traveling on a budget, the full kitchen allows you to cook your own meals. The downstairs market also is really nice. Overall it was a great place to stay in Porto!
