Porto Downtown Hostel Reviews

We had a very nice time in Porto, it's a wonderful city. The hostel was perfectly located, near any sightseeing places and the nightlife, it was quiet and clean . The staff member swere very nice and willing to help in any moment.

Very nice hostel

Great breakfast, lovely staff.

It is okay, clean enough, but there were flies all the time in the rooms, they charge you for keeping your luggage after 5 pm :P, you can only pay with cash, but it's good, clean toilets and showers and good location.

I had a real good time over there, good located place, nice environment. The stuffs were helpful.

The hostel is very nice, located in the best party area in Porto:) All the receptionist should be Portuguese..

Excellent location, right in the centre of the city life! The staff was very nice, the hostel had all the facilities that a traveller would ask for. The kitchen facilities were an asset! Excellent place with all the conditions! The bedroom was very colored, large windows and clean linen.Very cosy bedroom.

The downTown Hostel was really great, really good atmosphere, good location in the city and where you can definitely meet other travellers! The city tour, was amazing and gave me a really good idea about the city in a short time, I was not for long in Porto so it was really great for me! I plan to come back with some of my friends and I will definnitely advice this hostel for our staying!

Very friendly staff! The kitchen is big and inviting, perfect to mangle with other travelers. We had a good stay over there!

It was definitely a family-oriented, "quiet" hostel though situated right above the main streets lined with pubs. Staff was friendly, and everything was clean enough, however there were flies all over the kitchen and in the room. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Upon arrival though they didn't offer any information about the hostel or city (such as about tours or where to go or how a hostel works)-once asked, they were helpful. Atmosphere of the hostel a bit bare, but excellent location.

I was in a group of 8. We had never been in a hostel before, but for the first time ever, it was honestly an awesome experience. Everything was comfortable and organized, the rooms and bathrooms were always clean. It is close to everywhere which is a great advantage. On top of that, the staff was super kind and helpful to us. The other guests were polite and respectful as well. The breakfast was good and varied and the kitchen was well-equipped. An awesome place to go. We will surely come back!

Very friendly staff willing to engage in conversation with travellers. The facilities were really good and kept in a clean state. Fellow travellers were enjoyable, friendly people. The breakfast was nice. And the free cookies in a jar were a good plus.

such a chill place to be at. easy to find. beds were comfortable. the nightlife was awesome and it was so near. definitely going back.

AMAZING!!! One of the best hostels I have stayed at. The staff was so welcoming (Rita being my favorite), and it really does have the perfect location. It is smack in the center and around the corner from the the two main streets of big bars/clubs (literally).
