Great location in the middle of stunning city center. Old renovated building with a great style, cosy lounge place and a terrace where You can catch some sun. I am also really thankful to staff, which was nice, helpful and joyful. I will come back to this hostel, where I could listen to nice music while eating the breakfast.

The hostel is amazing, everybody is very nice, best location in town. The only problem was that they left a homeless women sleep in our dorm for two nights. This would not have been a problem if someone from reception explained the situation to us and everything, but instead nobody told us anything so we were a little uncomfortable.

Porto Lounge Hostel is very very nice. I really like it! The hostel is clean and you have all you want. It is care and the decoration is brilliant. This hostel is ubicated in the center of the city near the Aliados street and 7 minutes walking from the Ribeira, so is perfect. I recommend it so much.

Great location, secure, good prices, but best of all great staff! Very personable, yet still professional and they are always ready to help you. One morning I had slept in past the deadline for breakfast and instead of missing out, the owner of the hostel joined me and we had a wonderful time exchanging our travel experiences. She even gave me some great personal recommendations as to what to see in the city and she was right, they were definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend it!

The hostel is great, except for one point - it doesn't have elevator and the rooms go up to the 4th floor, each one having to go up two rounds of stairs to get to. I stayed at the hostel with my grandmother and we were in a room at the 4th floor so... Plus, we had a lot of suitcases and when we arrived, we had help from the hostel, but when we were leaving, the person who was working didn't even care. They should warn you of that.

Porto is the best town to visit in Europe. You just need 2 days to meet it but you can also spend more than one week relaxing at Matosinhos beach, going to all the wine cellars you can find, enjoying Douro river or just drinking as much Super Bock as you can at "Baixa" :) Porto Lounge Hostel is DEFINITELY the best place to stay. It is one block from Avenida dos Aliados, the heart of the city, and really close from the night life (less than 10min. walking). The staff is great :)
