Bad beds!

A very peaceful and serene place. Beautiful property and grounds, we had a brilliant view of the sea from our room. We came just at the start of season so there weren't many other guests, but still we had a very enjoyable stay. It is within a 15 minute walk to the nearest train too! There were no mirrors in the bedrooms and (obviously) no plugs in the bathroom, so doing hair was a bit difficult, but definitely manageable. Also, breakfast was great considering the accommodation was so cheap!

Overall we were happy with our stay although disappointed as we wanted to stay close to Sorrento but this hostel is in San Agnello which is 40 minutes walk. We had to pay extra on top of the balance quoted by Hostel World which we were told was a 'city tax'. This had not been mentioned anywhere on the site and when travelling on a tight budget, added costs such as this make a big difference. It is quite difficult to find as there are no instructions and google maps does not know where it is.

The view was great! And the circumstance was very comfortable. Only a little bit far from Sorrento center, but if you don't mind to take a walk, it's a nice and quiet place!

At the beginning, we had a good impression on this hotel. However, the receptionist overcharged us (paid by cash because their machine was out of order) at the end and has not solved this problem until now. Even worse, one of the housekeeping staff was trying to rip us off. It was extremely unpleasant and that is why we left such a negative review. They should have staff members who can speak English better. We hope that the person in charge will help solve the money problem ASAP. Thank you.

Clean and ok. Know your Italian as the check in lady doesn't speak anything else. I know I should know some things and I had an app to translate, but she overbooked us and was not doing a great job of making it clear. Sent us to two other places and we finally found someone to call and tell us what she was saying. We even booked several days in advance. She ended up giving us a better, private room, but acted angry the whole time about her error in overbooking.
