It was off season being winter and it seemed like San Agnello and sorrento were summer towns. Most restaurants nearby that were recommended by staff were closed. The room smelt of the toilet and we found ants crawling the walls. Also due to it being off season there was lots of construction work going on that started early morning. Breakfast was varied and nice. Looked like it might be better in summer.

So disappointing and overpriced. FALSE ADVERTISING! Room was nothing like the photo or description, we were in a noisy, tiny 2.5m x 2.5m room with 2single beds instead of a double as booked. Tiny little window with no view at all. Linen wasn't clean. Shared bathroom that had the same dirty bathmat the whole 4 days we were there. Breakfast was cereal and stale bread, no cheese etc as others had mentioned. Staff were not friendly. long walk to station and Sorrento. Unfriendly locals. nothing open.

Half hour walk into town. Bus stop near hostel & can buy tix at Hotel Mediterraneo vis a vis .. cost 2.40 euro for 45 min of bus use. Quiet, has (neglected) garden. B'fast not exciting; cheap evening meal available on request.

I think this hostel is part of a church. It was mysterious and intriguing at the same time. The location is great, a little farther walk from the train station but really close to the sea cliffs. Both entrances had locked gates and the breakfast was pretty good, toast, yoghurt, cheese, salami, cereal and hard boiled eggs. Free wifi in the lobby was very nice. There were only two shared bathrooms upstairs, but I never had to wait. Bathrooms-clean. Rooms-clean. Would stay here again.
