We had a nice stay in the hostel. The people who work there are nice (spoke english very well) and pointed us some really good places out to go! However, the bathroom was quite dirty. Paper was stuck in the toilet all the time, it smelled pretty bad, and there were hairs in the shower. Maybe this could be cleaned more often to make the stay of the customers better.

Downside: wifi don't work in the rooms. nowhere to hang your coat in the room. common toilets/showers not very practical (design). heater not available all day. Upside: relaxed atmosphere. access to "private" bathroom with bathtub. nice lounge area both in- and outdoors.

The bar for hostels in my opinion is being set very high these days thanks to hostels like this one. For me, hostels are less about just budget travel but also the atmosphere of meeting other travelers. I found everyone from the staff to the other travelers to be very friendly. All in all, this place rides the fine line between hostel and boutique hotel

This is a very luxurious hostel at a great price. It is quite large, so if you are looking for something small, this may not be for you. There is a bar downstairs, and although there were some activities (i.e. pub crawl), mostly people were left to their own devices for entertainment. One of the staff members actually told me "Well, its up to you to create the party" when I asked if anything was planned for that night.

Fantastic hostel with fantastic staff. I really felt a good vibe from these people as they honestly wanted to help and be friendly. During my stay they had a late Christmas dinner and it was absolutely incredible. I really, really enjoyed my time at the hostel.

Very helpfull staff, showed me everything I needed to know about Porto.The room was very good, clean and warm, so was the bathroom. TV, microwave, video-games and Wifi available

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Big rooms, excellent idea with the big lockers where you can put all your stuff and forget about it, very friendly staff who you can ask any question, big comfortable living room, clean kitchen with all sorts of facilities. And the price is very pleasant:)

Very well-run hostel, with friendly and helpful staff. Best of all, the hostel has valuable connections so that clients can get involved in group activities to discover the city, such as guided walking tours and pub crawls.
