I really liked staying here. The living room is fully equipped with everything you need including a guitar and playstation! I loved the 1€ port and 4hours of happy hour too! Thanks for a good time. My only suggestion would be to perk up the atmosphere a bit - maybe move the reception to the living room so the receptionists can be more social with guests!

- very nice hostel in great location - friendly and helpful staff - the bathroom for the dorms could be to small if the hostel is fully booked

I stayed at WINE hostel for four days with three friends. We all agreed it was a great place to stay! Clean, Good atmosphere and Perfect Location! The Cordoaria Square is always full of young people and it's right downtown Porto! What else could you ask for? I highly recomend it!

Great location, but finding a parking is an issue.

Very good hostel with many young travelers in a great location by some of the better nightlife streets. Also not too far from the main streets and major tourist zones, and the tours given by the hostel helped. Staff were also helpful for the most part and gave us good recommendations for dinner, nightlife, and even pointed us to the night bus when we had to leave for the airport, saving us cab fare. Overall, facilitates were good with a great kitchen and common room as well.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, answering all my questions about where to find places to go or eat. The hostel is perfectly located, right in the historic centre, near lots of the sights and an easy walk from the river. Even though it's ridiculously cheap, you get free wifi, discounted port and access to things like a free walking tour (my guide Pedro was really friendly and knowledgeable). The only problem is it's a tall building with no lift.

Very good hostel, clean and beautiful, well located, with very kind staff, the receptionist is really beautiful lol!!. The only negative aspect is that if you pay with a card at your arrival you'll have to pay from 3 to 5 extra %.

This hostel is a wonderful choice! About 4 blocks from the train station this place is close to everything. All the amenities are great with plenty of space and lockers (bring your own lock), though if you go in the winter be prepared because the rooms do not have heating but the do provide tons of blankets. The cool thing about this is all the port wine available and things to do that the hostel provides that you should definitely look into.

The hostel is nice and clean. The two-person bed was very small, about 1m20 wide. You better love each other. The staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable; even simple questions as "which restaurant is open on sunday night" were left unanswered (unless you take McDonalds seriously). It turned out that there were a whole bunch of nice restaurants within 5 mins walking.

The hostel itself was beautiful and perfectly located. I just wish that there was heat in the rooms. I also expected the cleaning lady to touch up the bathrooms daily, and that wasn't the case. Since the weather was really rainy, nothing ever dried, including the bathroom, and there were flies too.

Top Location, I had to think longer about things to complain - some more jacks would be fine

Bit noisy at night, but very pretty place, staff very helpful and friendly. The kitchen and living room are cool and a really good place to hang out after an exhausting city trip. (If you arrive at night, it's just behind the crowd of people standing, drinking and chatting. You're as close to the night spot as you can. If you want to sleep, it might be a bit too close but never mind.) My friends and me had a wonderful stay. Would definitely go there again if again in Porto.

Very good location only a few minutes walk from the city center, extremely friendly stuff, clean , secure, large bathroom, nice choice of excellent Port wine.

The hostel is ok, but it seems that the staff, though friendly, wouldn't go that extra mile to help customers.

Excellent location, great staff, clean, warm beds, great spacious lockers, nice common room and kitchen and racks inside the showers! This hostel is an absolutely great deal for your money!
