A nice place close to the city centre. Friendly staff. Left there our car parked for a couple of hours after checking out. Decent sized rooms. Coffee/tea making facilities.

This hostel was the best one from 7 different that we visited in Ireland. Room was so nice, warm with clean bathroom. It is normal that hostels have kitchen where you can prepire food for yourself, but this kitchen was the best among all visited. It had everything that we needed. Staff was also veery nice, location great. On the reception there was also a plate with fruit that we could take whenever we wanted....that made me feel like I was at home :) definitely recommend this hostel :)

This was the best and most comfortable of the over 20 hostels I've stayed in. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The sitting room was very comfortable as well and the breakfast (full Irish) was nice. The kitchen was very old and cute when not in hurry to get things cooked. Everything was clean and I really liked the recycling and energy saving culture in the whole hostel.

The owners were extremely friendly and well mannered. The hostel was overall very well upkept, and one could tell they cared about the building.

A basement type dorm, with a real bathroom, a large kitchen, an Aga cooker and a genuine garden. A good stay.

It's the worst hostel that i've ever met. The staff was very very rude with one of the guest. The atmosphere was extrange, There was free wi-fi, but if you don't have a computer and want to use the one that they have it cost €6/ hour. It is expensive (€18 day without breasfact) and you have to pay €10 as deposit for the key. The toilets are very old and a bit disgusting and if you want a towel you have to pay €1.50 for it.

The staff told me lots of things about Waterford. I went to a pub she told me, and I really enjoyed Irish music there!

This was the first time I stayed "Upstairs" usually living down in the hostel basement. The private rooms were very nice and as always the kitchen and common room in the hostel meet all the needs you may have. Only thing I didnt like was one of the ladies who worked there left the back door open when she was smoking and you could smell it all through the hotel, though she was lovely otherwise :)

I just stayed there for one night. I had a great evening. Nice conversations in the cosy ground floor living room. Great location. Big FREE parking spaces in the back of the house. Walking distance to city centre. Aldi and/or Lidl is just around the corner. Will go there again next time I'm in cork.
