The staff was friendly and helpful, the room amenities were spartan but adequate, a shower could be a floor away but they were always clean; a little far from the city center and major attractions but with good public transport available that is not much of an issue; al in all, quite servicable

Location is not so good (30 min by foot to the centrum), & I wouldn\'t stay there once more. Everytime you leave, you must leave the key at the desk & not always the stuff is there when you come back. Cleaning ladies go into your room without asking. Rooms are not very comfortable (short beds)

Very dirty. Lights in bedroom didnt work and Staff didnt bother to do anything about it. Wierd checkout system whereby you hand over your key everytime you leave the building. The showers are communal (with no curtains) and also you have to pay extra for towels. DO NOT STAY HERE. This was one of the most expensive hostels we stayed at but the worst by far!

The rooms were not cleaned so we had to move to another room. When our friends arrived the next day, their room was not cleaned either and they also had to move to another room. In clean rooms (with fresh linen) there were still dirty glasses from the people before us...
The staff however was very friendly and helpful, and overall I feel I can recommend the hostel (clean rooms would be nice, though).

The hostel is nice clean and located near the city center, the showers are commons but there isn't never queue, There's no lift, but it's no a problem...The hostel is in a university zone, you can walk near the river and drink a good beer in the pubs or eat some tipycal vienna's food in many little restaurants.
The staff is ok. Enjoy Vienna it's fantastic!!! Don't forget to eat the "Sacher torte" (Sacher's cake) and visit the Leopold, Mumok and Belvedere museums!!!!!!!!
