Got to appreciate the sense of service and willigness to assist one in every inquiry thinkable of the several receptionists. As a guest you have their full attention, friendliness and offered service that gives one the best welcome to Vienna to be thought of . With their knowledge on various useful topics for someone visiting Vienna and Austria, they can provide one with more helpful and insightful advices than any Lonely Planet book or travel magazine could easily do.

Very nice place. Rooms are tidy and economical, and cheap, in what is a fairly expensive city. Sinks in the rooms is good. You have to pay for the wifi, but I don't mind paying too much as long as the service is fast and reliable, which this is. I think it's one or two euro for an hour, five for a day and fifteen for a week. It's a reasonable walk into the city centre, but you can catch the tram or the U-Bahn.

Good location, showers are disgusting, staff is nice but the ladies in the breakfast room arent very friendly, only one toilet for the entire floor, okay if you plan on sleeping there.

My stay at Porzellaneum was very good. The staff was very helping. The price of the hostel is also reasonable. The house was very clean. The hostel was very safe and good in security. They have luggage room as well, if want to check out earlier. Overall my stay was very good at Porzellaneum hostel.

The outstanding feature is its location, - within easy walking distance of the centre or take a tram from outside the door. It also has a very pleasant, secluded garden area to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic , clean, and overall this was value for money accommodation especially when taking location into account.

"24 hour a day reception" was not there when we tried to check out. We asked the night before how to check out because we had a train to catch very early. They told us it would not be a problem. We waited for about twenty min (the sign on the door said "be back in ten min"). This then put is behind on our bus which put us behind on our tram, which put is behind on the metro and we got to the train station late. We missed our train and had to take one at night making us waste a day in Munich

bathrooms need to be cleaned eveyday and so do the toilets. a bit more privacy in the bathrooms would be better aswell in the male showers especially screens would be good instead of just being all open. ok hostel but cleanliness needs a huge upgrade!!!!!!!!

Didn't realise this was actually a university dorm, which brought back some memories! But staff were very helpful and polite, even with silly questions. They also had good recommendations on places to check out for food etc. It was clean, and fairly quiet and a very easy location for getting anywhere in Vienna. This is a great place to stay on a budget.

The staffs were friendly and helpful. This place is quite ok. 15 minutes walking to Vienna University Campus AKH and Vienna Ring. One thing I don't quite like is that there is no lift in the hostel but it has 4 floors... This is very unpleasant if you travel with heavy baggages. But the guy was very helpful, he brought my 20kg baggage up to my room on 3rd floor. I choose this hostel because the price was reasonable and it's close to Vienna University but a bit far from city center.

The showers are in common but someone everytime locked the door and so I have to wait till he finished. It's a nice hostel but because the breakfast is not included and there is no a big common kitchen it's difficult to meet new people.

The room was safe, clean and quiet. Perfect low-budget accommodation with no unnecessary frills. Many add-ons such as towel rental, high-speed internet, laundry and breakfast are available in-house at very reasonable rates. The hostel is conveniently located only 5 minutes walking distance from the U4 subway line. Supermarket with delicatessen, drug store and several restaurants are only steps away. The students who run reception are very attentive and always ready to give a helping hand.

Good location, good price, nice rooms. Showers - communal (ie room of 3 oor 5 open shower heads for guys, girls ones had curtains) so old school but are hot, powerful and generally quiet and no worse than going to the gym.

The rooms and the entire building are very austere, the furniture is quite oldfashioned. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is good with a tram stop (Line D) on the street outside and the subway (Line U4) about 200 metres away. There are several supermarkets and restaurants in the nearby surroundings. In the rooms is only a sink, the toilets and showers are spread over the floor. The showers are group showers with no dividers, so one shouldn't be shy.

there r no lifts in th building..and if you book from hostel world they give you room on eithr 3rd or 4th floor..and they consider ground floor as 0 as opposed to some other countries so that is big hassle..no break fast..no towel..no free internet..these small things sucks toillette was dirty on the 4th floor nd no soap..so i had to go to 3rd floor.b..otherwise the rooms r pretty decent no problems there..location is fine..not v close to center but metros n trams are avalibe
