a traditional university style of dorm accommodation which was a little unexpected as i am a backpacker and only stayed for a single night. Still it was an experience... maybe an expensive one compared to the accommodation ive had travelling europe over the past 7 months.

I booked a single room. I went to my room and opened the door after check-in. There was a lady in the room. Receptionist gave me a key of occupied room. I felt very bad because of breaking privacy. I went back to reception and told about this. There was a long queue and he put me in the end so I had to wait for half an hour. And my new room was 4 beds dorm. Of course I stayed all by myself in a room. But the reception must learn more how to care the guests.

It has not free wifi, the breakfast is expensive and the clean staff open your door without nocking, early in the morning.the location is ok for the price, and the room is big and comfortable. the checkout is at 9 oclock! And be carefully because the prices you see here are only for hostelworld bookings

Really good for relaxing. We went in early September and it's probably different from other times of the year, in which probably there will be few toilettes and showers for all the people staying in. Very good location, close to various markets (including one open on Sundays) paid internet (one computer available if you are lucky) and paid breakfast.

More of a Hotel than a hostel, the Poryellaneum is clean, located on the University side of town with a beautiful garden and back court yard. Great sushi place (cheap and delicious) just down the road and a couple of blocks from the metro. Was lucky enough to be updgraded from a dorm to single room at no extra cost. Facilites clean and service very good. Check-out 9am but free luggage storage for day. Recommended for the quieter traveller looking for R&R and enjoys own company.

The staff were nice and helpful, but they are young students! This is a university dorm and only good for an overnight.

This hostel was good. The staff were extremely helpful, had excellent English and were there 24 hours a day. The building had a lot of character and was in a safe area. The breakfast was not worth the €5.00 we paid for it and the shower facilities were limited. The bathroom was down the hall from us, it was uni-sex and this was kind of inconvenient. It is exactly what you would expect from student dorms. Internet costs €5.00 per 24 hours and the towels cost €2.00 each to rent. Overall; good.

There was no fridge and no kitchen for cooking. The floor in the room was dirty. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was possible to buy a breakfast for 5 euros. We missed the fridge.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is really great too. Room is small, but clean. Reception is working 24h per day, so you can get help everytime.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Price was not expensive, for Vienna it was really cheap actually. The rooms are a little old but they are comfortable, and clean. Maybe there should be more coputers with internet connections available but one is not bad.
