At first, many things went wrong (city water problems were the worst) and, for awhile, we wished we had booked elsewhere. Sergio and the rest of the staff did all they could, however, and we have now been here a week. Like all hostels, this one has quirks but, all in all, a great place with beautiful views, nice courtyards, wonderful location, and generally comfy rooms. I had a personal problem (lost my passport) and Sergio, Lydia and Rosi have been truly helpful and kind -- muchos gracias!

Very nice hostel, with lots of space inside and rich amenities.

Lovely staff, the common areas were nice but it was colder inside than outside and there was no heating. Breakfast was good too.

Take note! This place is actually two separate buildings; the advertised, pretty, courtyard-ed one... And another one round the corner. We stayed in the other one so that's what our ratings are for. The pretty place (where you go for the included decent breaky) was lovely. Plenty of friendly people, cheap beers, great little atmosphere. However we rocked up at the other building, which was fine - just a little deserted, patchy WIFI and lacking in character. No locks on doors either.

Location is great! Just two blocks away from the center. You can get here walking from the bus station. We got a 4 bed ensuite room.Beds were comfortable to sleep, they also gave us blankets (it gets cold/fresh by nights) and lend us towels free. The hostel is nice, big, cozy, breakfast is good, music was pretty cool,wi-fi & the room was clean.Staff was very kind and helpful. The only bad thing is that they ran out of water for 2 days in a row..so imagine the toilets and our smell.VisitDate:08/15 to08/19
