Nice room in a very disapointing city. Some members of the staff were everything but friendly. Also - as I think about it now - more comic than insulting. Their paperwork is a mess. Checking out has taken 20 minutes. Better have your payment confirmation ready. They will even open the TV remote control and check if you didn't steel the batteries. The hotel guys accept heavy drinking in the rooms, libations untill late in the night.... so don't forget your ear stoppers if you want to sleep.

Wonderful place. Had a private room with 2 beds and a TV for the cost of a dorm bed (about $20 US). However, my room was at the front, and I was often disturbed by passing buses. (Mexican buses are loud.) Ask for a room at the back! Great location, central but nestled away. Had hot water, but low pressure in the shower. Also, the toilet chain was broken during my stay. They could have fixed this. Otherwise, I felt safe here because people have to be buzzed in by reception. I recommend it!
