this place is a real gem. from arrival felt very at ease in its lush gardens with swinging hammocks, with friendly helpful staff. Located near town and the beaches. I was staying with my girlfriend so we paid for a double room with bathroom which was very comfortable and cleaned daily

Excellent place to stay Jose the manager is very friendly and helpful and will give you tips on where to go and organise tours if you want. Great setting with a big relaxing garden and pool. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is great too.

The appearance of the pousada was good, clean, and bright; however, a bit dark in the room (only one ceiling fan light and one bedside lamp). They charge for towels, unlike some other places. If you're up for an adventure go rafting, but shop around on the main street for the best price.
