The first two nights we stayed in the deluxe room that overlooks the water. The deluxe room was very nice and the view was amazing. We booked a few more nights and ended up having to stay in a standard room. The bed didn't have a matress it was just a box spring haha. The staff was also not very helpful.
This is a good hostel, the staff is great, a good location, close to the second beach and supermarket, i recommend it.
Good hostel, the rooms are very clean, the location is great and the staff too. This is my second time in morro de sao paulo and i recommend the hostel.
My husband and I loved our stay at Farol das Estrelas! The rooms 5 and 6 are right in front of the beach! Staff is great, good shower! Bad mattress.. :( the view is amazing! Wanna go back! Try it out! Keep the beaches clean!
nice place. room was small for three but the beach location was fantastic. very nice owner. :)
Great pousada in the quiet third beach with two nice rooms right in front of the ocean. They are a bit more expensive than the others but you won’t find any better in Morro. Breakfast with tropical fruits, ham and cheese. Finally, the manager Federico is very kind and helpful.

Marcello was very friendly. He invited us with the best lasagna. The frontrooms to the sea are simple, but with a good view from the balcony.
Federico is an amazing host and is full of Italian flare. I was lucky enough to heve him cook for me during my stay and it was nothing short of amazing. The rooms are of a great standard extremely well kept and made up each day. If you can I would recommend paying the little bit extra for the ocean view rooms. It was nothing short of amazizng waking up to the sunrise each day. Breakfast is free and served in the hallway down stairs its simple yet however you wouldnt want much more
It is very small and has a lack of commun space but a great value for money and the owner is nice and helpful. The reception is not occupied a lot but as the isle is very easy to get around, this is not really a problem.
Not worth the money, we paid BRL120 per night for a standard double room & it was a huge disappointment. The room was tiny and there was not enough space for our bags. The fridge didn't work for the first few days. The air conditioning did not work. The door handle to the ensuite was broken. We were told we could move to a better room for the last night so took the time to pack up our stuff and then we were told we couldn't move! Also they do not speak English as noted in the property info.
nice breakfast, kind staff, but pretty small room and breakfast room...
The hotel is very well located on the third beach, near nice restaurants and bars. The second beach which is best for swimming and parties is 1 minute walk. Our private double room was spacious but would need updating. Our main issue was the lack of communal space, for example the breakfast is good but served on a few tables stacked along the entrance corridor. So it is not very practical and not meant to be for meeting people. Staff are very nice but the reception is rarely attended.
The room had a strong smell of sewage, and it could not be fixed!! There was no one at the reception. Good location.

We stayed 8 nights, and Federico was an excellent host. The bedroom with the balcony is incredible, really comfortable and the breakfast has lots of variaties. Totally recommended, y gracias por todo! Sebastián y Javiera
This Hostel got such great reviews and was such good value we couldn't look past it for Xmas. I must admit I was a little disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for in Brazil! There is no common area, there is no kitchen, the rooms are very basic and they will try and squeeze as many people in one room as possible - the bed pretty much covered the bathroom door!! Federico who runs the Hostel is very charming! All in all there are so many places in Morro I would shop around next time...
Had a second level from room overlooking the beach which was 5 meters away. Such a fantastic place and the island as whole was a time. We love you Frediriko
The pousada is on a perfect place at Morro de Sao Paulo, right on the 3rd beach, which is quiet comeparing to the 2nd beach, but only 3 minutes walk from the action. And if you are looking for a quiet beach than it's only 5 minutes walk to beach number 4 were you can walk for hours and swim in the calm and clear sea. The pousada is lovely, and we had the double de luxe room, which has a great balcony with hammocks, so you can enjoy the lovely view of the ocean and the walkway on the 3rd beach.
Absolutely fantastic place! We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Federico is an excellent host, he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The location is perfect. The hostel is right on the 3rd beach, which is close to the restaurants and bars on the 2nd beach but nice and quiet at night. Pay a little extra and get one of the rooms with a balcony facing the ocean. Warmly recommended.
Very neat place, good location (3rd beach, in between 2nd beach which is the best for bars and restaurants and the 4th beach which is the best for chilling out). Federico is a nice guy, helped us with everything we needed. I´d stay there again.
Fair prices, good service and nice staff. When we arrived we got a very big discount even though we agreed to a certain price to hostelworld. The room with ocean view is a must! Great location.
