It has a lot of space, it's located around the corner of all the restaurants and serve a very good breakfast.
Mixed reviews here, we had the 3 bed private room- loved the room, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was awesome, great food and selection!! The wifi never worked though. :( That being said, the wifi rarely works anywhere in town. The tour office called ZEN tours has the best wifi in town. The staff doesn't let you use the kitchen to cook at night. (not sure about during the day since we didn't try). It's a clean nice hostel though, great breakfast. So, depends what you're after.
The breakfast was good and change every few days. They didn't tell us that we have to change the room, so we had a lot of stress one morning to pack all of our stuff and catch the bus for our day trip. We felt like they didnt like to talk to us because we don't speak portugues. So if we didn't ask them anything we got no information about our stay. We choose the hostel because there is wifi, but at all there was no wifi for nearly four days.
Breakfast was good - cake, sometimes warm breads, fresh juice etc. We were given free soap and the hostel was very clean. Staff didn't speak any English which, given that the National Park is a tourist destination, was a little frustrating and made visiting the park trickier. There was only 1 bathroom which was through the breakfast room and was shared between multiple guests.
Very nice place, thoughtful staff, and excellent location. It would be perfect if the rooms had air condition systems. Still, totally recommended.
