Nice hostel/hotel right on the front beach on the island. The receptionist was super helpful and spoke great English, we had a nice big double room and the breakfast was very nice every morning on the balcony overlooking the harbour in the sun. Good wi-fi and good value. My girlfriend did get

mildew infested rooms (even the beds!), very intense disgusting smell came out of the bathroom, brown and yellow stains all over towels and sheets, the water coming out of the shower was way too hot and you could not regulate it, the safe was broken and could not be used, breakfast was poor.

my partner & I stayed here for three nights. we did not want to leave, three or maybe four nights, however, is ample time for the island. the staff here were friendly & helpful. what the hostel lacked in atmosphere (organised hostel events) , it made up for with stunning views from the second floor restaurant deck and close proximity to the Abraao township, where you don't have to walk far to find a little bit of paradise or entertainment.

the location couldnt be any better and the guy on the front desk was especially helpful and friendly. i would certainly stay there again
