A simple, quiet and pretty place about a 5-10 minute walk from the main town centre in a quiet part of tome very close to the beach.. OurBedroom was clean but the bathroom felt quite tired and grotty. The room we stayed in had no proper window so was quite dark which was a little disappointing. Didn't really know who to talk to for advice about the island as the one staff member who checked us in didn't speak a word of English.. We did enjoy our stay here but not sure we would stay again

Pousada Paloma is run by an exceptionally friendly woman and her even friendlier group of (ENGLISH SPEAKING!!!) staff, who were able to provide us with excellent advice about places to visit and where to eat. We were even able to have a nice conversation with them and learned much about Brazil. Acommodations are clean and comfortable. AC in each room, perfectly adequate breakfast. the place is a block from the bay. it was a little quiet when we were there. security is not an issue anywhere.

A very cute place, very clean, they provide sheets and towels, breakfast is great, most of the rooms have air conditioning, it's very close to everything and the staff is really helpful. And they have delicious caipirinhas for R$5, I would definitely stay here again!

we were just disappointed when we found out that we got a room without proper window
