Overall a good and friendly hostel. Sleeping before 11:30pm impossible though due to loud music and chatting at reception. Music then started at 8:30am again. The bathroom was very small and a little bit dirty. Worst of all was the bed though. The covers for the pillows didn't enlcose them completely which meant you could see thos dirty old things. The smelled horribly too, which made it hard for me to actually use them to sleep.

I enjoyed the hostel for the purpose, but, they do not have any security. My room stayed opened all the first day without my information... the common area is poor and the rooms are a little bit moldy, but the cleaning were made everyday. I considered a good 20 years old argentinian wellcome hostel style.

fortunately we only booked two nights here because after finding 5 cockroaches in the bedroom we were more than happy to move to new accomodation. its down an alley way so it smells and they could do with covering the breakfast because there are hundreds of flies

Above all, the best located hostel in Morro, by far. But...poor facilities, poor wi fi, and the worst was the cleanliness. In 2 days i found 3 cockroach in my room, and during breakfast the mosquitos were regular. Good breakfast though, they serve it to you. Anyone comes in and out of that hostel, it´s ok by me but some day that could turn out in a bad situation. If you like a hippie careless hostel, this is your place. The location was amazing but i wouldnt come back

That was the first time I saw we had to pay to use the kitchen of the hostel....and 6 in a 15m2 room without window is a bit too much...the staff was nice though and the breakfast was good...

6-bed dorm was tiny (about 10ft square) with no ladders on the beds. My friend couldn't get up to her bunk without our help. The toilet door wouldn't shut, the sink wasn't attached to the wall, the seat wasn't attached to the toilet, and you had to go into the shower to do a 360. No lockers, so we left our valuables in a drawer in reception, which didn't always staffed, but did blare out Bob Marley for 14 hours a day. We moved rooms to an OK 3-bed. Breakfast and communal areas were OK.

Our toilet door wouldn't close properly and there was something wrong with the toilet so it didn't flush everything, which was disgusting. After a few days it got fixed though but it took a while. The kitchen had most things but often there were dirty dishes left on the counter that seemed to be from the staff.

Had a fantastic stay at Pura Vida. Its in the perfect position for a great island holiday. Mati and all staff were really helpful and made our stay particularly fun, taking us out and showing us around.
