the atention was good, the owner was very kind, but the problem is the location and also they need an asistant, also is a little bit expensive.
A nice but brief stay for us. Lovely breakfast and nice staff.
In the 6 months of travelling this is truly the worst hostel we have stayed in! The owner is rude and arrogant and does not understand the concept of reservation. If you book a 8 bed dorm don´t be surprised if you are on the 3rd tier bunk with 17 others in your room!!! His policy is first come first served even when you book in advance and pay a deposit. There is only 1 girls bathroom and 1 boys bathroom for the whole hostel. The breakfast is reasonable and the security is good.
The hostal is situated in a place where there is nothing to do, far away from restaurants, shops and public transport. It is not easy to find, because there is no name tag at the door. The room has 3 level beds and there are way to many beds in one room. There are not enough bathrooms. There was not enough breakfast for every guest. The staff doesn't speak english. There is no tourist information. There is nothing to do in the hostal. The kitchen does not have enough plates and glasses. The hostal has no do

was a pretty poor hostel there is nothing to do there at all, but the location is good so if your not sitting around the hostel its great. the owner and aligator the guy that worked there were very friendly and made the stay pleasant.
We really enjoyed our time at the hostel! Staff is friendly, the hostel has a very familiar atmosphere and is a clean place. We had fun nights just sitting outsite and chatting, having some beers or caipirinhas. The location is good for Samba nights in Lapa but unfortunately far away from the beaches. But take a bus and you get there! You will definitely like this place and its people!
