The pousada is very well situated in the heart of the historic Salvador (Pelourinho). In this touristic and noisy sector, the staff and the atmosphere of the pousada are particularly pleasant and warm.

Based on pics I thought it was better. General maintenance is POOR. Neighbours are super noisy (people gathering in a bar next door with loud music, yealing like crazy), staff was kind allowing us to change to another room (dark, mouldy and smelly). The day after they asked us to change rooms again because the one we were slepping was booked (had A/C) and the one we moved to (also dark, mouldy and smelly) also had A/C! Basic breakfast. Paulo kindly brought Mango for us on request (paid 4 it)
