We stayed in a twin room which was small but had a private bathroom which was kept very clean. Fresh towels everyday. Staff were really helpful. It is at the top of a bit of a hill but it's not so bad and good exercise, out of the way so it's nice and peaceful when you want it.
cute pousada, located in the jungle about 10 minutes up a hill. pros: lovely hammocks and garden setting, helpful staff, tour booking facilities cons: security!!!!! we stayed in one of the rooms at the back and you can pull the window open at any time, only a fan was provided in our room (so it was far too humid), there are loads of holes in the door/windows so we were eaten alive by mosquitoes, breakfast was strange-they refused to replenish the eggs despite only half the guests having eaten
Great stay a short walk up the hill from the main beach, remote jungle like feeling while still being close to the action. Great staff, lots of cute cats hang out around the main outside area keeping away the snakes!

Very cozy pousada located next to a small waterfall (cachoeira="waterfall") with a charming open-air breakfast area (good food!) and nicely equipped bedrooms (hammocks and garden chairs). Good value for money!
The Pousada was beautiful!!! Really nice place to stay. It is not in the center but the landscape is really awesome.
The hiostel is really nice with its "jungle" garden and the small river below. People are nice and helpfull. The room was clean and we really enjoy our stay.
Absolutely stunning hostel, beautifully hidden away. The owner is really lovely and friendly and the breakfast is great. We wanted o stay longer at this place but unfortunately there weren't any rooms. It's a perfect little retreat.
