Its a not so easy way by feet from the landing place, but the hostel is located in a very calm and quiet place. This was my second stay in this hostel and I would choose it a third time. The staff is helpful and the rooms are okay. I can only recommend this hostel.

Really nice place to stay. The character of this pousada is awesome and make you feel like at home. Good place to relax and chill out. Only down side is the 5min walk up the hill - but this is no problem, the village is very small anyways. We would definetly book again.

Amazing hostel. Definitely worth the little walk up the hill. Staff, especially Felix, is really nice and helpful. Breakfast is great. After a day on the beach it`s perfect to relax in a hammock with a beer and a good book, enjoying the view to garden and the little river. The only reason that we moved to another pousada after a couple of days is that there is no guest kitchen. If you don´t need a kitchen, Cachoeira is the place to choose on Ilha Grande (if full, take recanto dos ties!)

We absolutely loved this place... in fact we are still here! We booked for three night and after the first decided to stay a bit longer. Rooms are cosy, clean and comfortable, you have a little terrace with a hammock and breakfast is good. The garden is just amazing! Location is good for us, a little bit out of the center but therefore very quiet and relaxed. Claus is a perfect host!
