About Pouso dos Anjos
The "Pouso dos Anjos" is a former Countess' Palace recently transformed into a Property located near Lisbon's downtown (5 minute walk to Rossio's central square).
It has about 29 cosy and well decorated rooms spread throughout 3 floors and crowned by a quiet private garden . The breakfast included in the reservation, and it is served in a band new room, from 8.30am to 10.30am.
Most of the rooms have en suite bathroom. We offer singles, doubles, triples and quadruples. We are proud of our high standard of Hygiene and Safety kept through the whole structure.
The suite is the hotel's most comfortable room and is decorated in a modern way with a large bathroom.
The property also provides rooms decorated with antique tiles and a new quadruple room located in the garden, all with private bathroom.
Recently, Pouso dos Anjos has a new acquirement: a dorm room, that serves 12 people in two different rooms. Perfect for backpackers and low-budget travelers, the dorm has shared bathrooms (for women and men), air conditioning, lockers where the guests can keep their belongings and a diner area.
We have a private Garden which is available for the pure leisure and relaxation of our clients.
Our staff is a melting pot of ethnicities and amongst all we manage to speak 5 languages (Portuguese, Catalan, French, English and Portuguese Sign Language).
The Reception is open 24h and there's always someone available to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
At the Reception we afford Maps, Cultural Guides, Car and Restaurant bookings, Internet access and a small bar.
Within approx. 50meters we have Bus stations (buses Nº34; 40; 208; 708), tramway station (Nº28, which can take you to Graça, Alfama, the Flee Market, the Castle, Bairro Alto and Estrela) and two Subway Stations (Anjos and Intendente, both on the Green Line; subway works between 6h30A.M. and 1h00A.M.)
The Hostel's touching stone is its diversity and prejudice-free mentality, patent in the decoration, the staff itself and the client from all corners of the globe and walks of life.
Please note that:
* The designation 'Private Shared Bathroom' means that the room itself is private (i.e. not a dormitory) but the bathroom is common.
**All cancellations or modifications on your reservation must go through the booking agency; we do not accept direct cancelling.
***According to the booking site regulations, our properties policy and European Tourism Law all modifications or cancellations of reservations must be done 24H BEFORE THE ARRIVAL TIME; after that, by law, the client is breaking a contract and will have to pay the full originally contracted services
****We do not, for the moment, accept reservations with Debit Cards .
