Prague is very cold, and tourists are not accostumed to that. I arrived at night and spent my first night feeling cold, with only one cover in my bed (default per room). Besides that, everything was fine.

Excellent place to stay! Central position, close to everything by walk. Big size rooms with TV and kitchen. Very well kept, clean and comfortable. Free internet was great. Highly recommended!

The Prague Lion Hostel exceeded our expectations - it was a enjoyable stay, and we had everything we needed. The staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

This hostel is a good value for money, compared with the average prices in Prague. It is cheap and well located, and it has good heating (the temperature in the room was even a bit too high). However, it is quite old and there is no common room, no kitchen or living room. But it is enough to spend a few days visiting Prague.

Check in all good, lady behind desk booked taxi for us the following morning which was good. Rooms are like budget apartments so well equipped to keep/ heat food if you want to save money. The problem we had was that we had no hit water and when we informed her, she just said, "I don't know" which is why I gave staff an average.

Terrible experience. Do not recommend at all. Filthy hostel and rude, unhelpful staff. Never again!

We stayed in a double private and our experience was great. The room was clean there was more then enough space with two huge closets. There was a mini fridge and an electric kettle in the room so we were able to enjoy a nice breakfast in the room before heading out as well. The only down side was that the room was located a little bit far from the city center 15-20 minuet walk so you would not want to go back and forth to often.

Staff at the Lion was extremely nice and helpful, we got a huge apartment (4 people in two rooms with shared bathroom) with kitchen and all utensils needed that we could spend there week and feel like home. Everything was very good apart from the shower which was a little on a rusty/fungy side. Anyway would absolutely reccomend that Hostel to anybody who is searching for a decent place in the great location.

The hostel is very well placed, near from everywhere and so quiet at the same time. The staff is so kind and helpful, their recomendations about Prague made better our jurney... the only thing they have to improve is the cleanliness, on the ceiling and under the bed, but anyway it was aceptable. I think that Lion is a good hostel

We stayed in Prague Lion Hostel for one night. Everything was great, the room was clean, there was Wi-Fi in our room and the reception area for free, the receptionist was very nice and friendly. I can recommend this hostel to everyone. Darina

Overall pretty good. Need exhaust fan in bathroom because it smells of mould. Also, perhaps they could dust under the bed once a week at least? I suffered from allergies..Other than that, the staff spoke decent english, they were pretty nice, and even though they had a problem with the reservation, we still had a place to sleep, but the lady had to clean the room so we had to wait a while for her to do so. Internet is free and reliable! Not far from cheap eats, metro and market.Would recommend.

Two best things regarding the Lions hostel are location (city center, 2 minute walk to dancing house and Veltava river and 10 mintes from Charles Bridge) & staff (polite, helpfull). The room itself was nice though it could be just a bit cleaner, the boiler in the bathroom was leaking water and copule more minor inconveniences;) All in all i would say its worth recommending:)

Reception was closed when we arrived; they close at 12:30pm! We had to wait outside in the street for over 1 ½ hours for somebody to arrive and give us the key. I received an email about having to coordinate your arrival time ONLY after booking, if I had known that was needed, I wouldn’t have booked here (can be hard to know sometimes), but anyways I called about a week before to let them know we were arriving at 6:00pm, they said it was no problem, but then we arrived and no one was there.

This is a great affordable choice in Prague - it takes about 10 minutes to get back into the city and the location is quiet. We had a private room (for 2) with a private bathroom, and it was essentially like staying in a hotel. The bathroom was huge, the beds were comfortable, and we definitely felt safe there. We would stay again if we return to Prague.

A secure, quiet place to stay. Near to public transport and some good places to eat and drink. Room was clean and staff were nice. Would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to get a good sleep rather than continue to party.

well located hostel, quite clean, staff member (i think there is only the one) is quite nice. Great hostel if you want to rest at the end of a long day sightseeing, or a long night of partying, but you wont meet anyone else here as its more like a hotel with seperate rooms and no real communal area. But i would stay here again when i return to Prague.

Good inexpensive hostel. There's really no where to interact with others there so don't pick if you are looking for a downstairs bar or to hook up with other people to go out. We were there for day & had to switch rooms 3 times. For 2 of the nights we did not have a kitchen but we were supposed to have a private suite with kitchen. I also didn't like the fact that the man at the hostel was asking for a tip for getting the taxi when he didn't even call it for us. I work hard for my money too.
