The hostel was worn down and the cleanliness was poor, mainly because of too many beds in a too small room. There was no door to the shower. The ventilation was poor. During night people from the street sneeked into the hostel and one evening when i came back to the hostel there had been someone sleeping in my bed. The girl at the reception was very nice and helpful though!

Great place to stay for a couple in Prague for a good price. The shower on our floor did not drain very well and flooded easily. The shower head as well was broken and detached from the shower.

The only good thing about hostel is that it's close to the city center. We had a room in the basement, there was no light, there was no electricity in the bathroom, there was no freakin door in the batroom! The whole bathroom was flooded with wather all the time cause you have to shower, and the staff didn't bother cleaning it for few days. The room was very cold and humid. They have no living room or the room to hang out so you have only your room to stay in when in hostel. Worst stay ever.

Although I requested a late arrival there was no one at the reception when we arrived, and so the next 4 days so we could not get advice or discuss any problems we had. We were 4 sharing a room and they refused giving a set of spare keys which made us very hard to plan how to get back especially with the lack of reception to even get through the main gate. It's a poor excuse for a cheap hotel that they have renamed a hostel. Extremely loud surroundings!

We can´t really comment on atmosphere because we only were there at night. Most sightseeing highlights in walking distance. Staff was very friendly. No street noise at night.-

We stayed in a private 4 bed-bedroom and it included a kitchen (ok, with no cooker or stove but we were able to have breakfast there). It was big and comfortable enough so I would recommend it. Not the dorm, the room was very small and it looked too crowded. And it was cheap and walking distance away from the centre sights and the main train station.

The hostel is strategically located near from many of the tourist spots. The staff was cooperative and helpful. The only small problem was of communication, as the staff was not really well versed with English but luckily I knew Deutsch and so was able to communicate properly. Other than that all was well and It was an enjoyable experience!!

The "kitchen" consisted just on a microwave and a fridge. The room was a little bit cold. But it was ok.

Simply great!I spent at Lion Hostel 3 nights with my gf and everything was just perfect.Really cheap and with all the facilities that we needed. It was really comfortable, room big enough and very clean, the man at the reception was absolutely kind and helpful. What is more the location is definitely super as it is behind Charles Square, metro and trams really close and if you wanna walk everything is close. There are also several Czech restaurants around the hostel which are really good.
