My favorite hostel so far, atmosphere and staff set it apart.

The staff is really friendly and helpful!! The location is perfect!! You are really in the middle of the Prague Lift, doesn't matter if you are on a party trip or more on the sightseeing trip!! But if you wish yourself a calm, silent night, this hostel is the wrong adress. Because the hostel is completly in the center, there is a lot going on at the street and in summer you NEED the window open. (But I heard that it's better when you get a room to the back side!! -> So just ask for!!)

We were moved to old Prague hostel then we had our camera and money stolen from our locked lockers. The other people in our room also had their things stolen (eg iPads). Turns out the lockers (being old and wooden) only need to be hit a certain way to open them when they are locked. Manager was unhelpful and unsympathetic. Awful experience. Would not recommend this chain of hostels

Even though we had pre-booked months ahead of time, they asked us to change rooms at 10am the next day which was very unexpected and was a pain since we had to put our bags in the storage room for a few hours while they prepared our second room. The shared dorms are quite small and the bathrooms are tiny. The beds were alright.

I ran tours in Prague last year, and Ive stayed in a few different hostels in Prague before, this is a good hostel, but I can almost definitely say that it is one of the best positioned hostels in Prague

Great place to stay. Friendly and patient staff eager to help and show Prague in the best possible way.

4th,floor very hot at night need ceiling fans

The beds were terrible with small mattresses and very shaky bunks. Anytime one of us slightly moved, the other person would sway back and forth.

Small but excellent hostel. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was shoddy cereal but they also gave free sandwiches for lunch! Great location obviously that meant it can get quite loud as it is in the heart of the city but getting to places was easy :)

Great place location wise, but there was a bar right outside the room window making noise all night. Not the newest place.

Really nice kitchen and common room area, good for meeting new people, and about 5 minutes from the main old town square- not massively lively but definitely recommend, good atmosphere

A very well located hostel with really nice staff. We arrived at 7am on a sleeper train and they let us have a drink etc before storing our luggage. The hostel is near the famous clock and the rooms are spacious. The guests in our room were friendly, but other guests seemed a bit unsociable. A recommended hostel especially if you are with friends.

Unfortunately 1 of our party had major surgery in Munich on their intestine which meant I had to stay behind. We made the hostel aware of the situation in advance and asked to reduce the beds we wanted to 3 because the other members were going to keep travelling. (We got acknowledgement from the hostel that only 3 beds were needed). Once the other members got to the hostel they checked in and went into their room only for 5 minutes later being told there was a problem and kicked out the hostel.

Excellent location! The staff were pretty friendly, I would definitely recommend. Free breakfast is always a plus. The only weird thing was there was no women's showers on my floor, but you just had to go up or down a floor, which was no big deal at all.

The location of this hostel is the only really good thing about it. There is no a/c (it was in the upper 30s our whole stay), the wifi only works in the common rooms, the breakfast was only cereal (one of our group members is lactose intolerant), and while they do offer free walking tours, they weren't clear on where to meet them and the tour left without us. If you're looking for a very basic backpacking hostel in a fabulous location, this is your place. Otherwise, stay somewhere better.

Good location, very close to old town square which is always busy which meant noisy nights and that makes it a bit difficult to get a good sleep. Overall it was a good experience in the hostel. Good value for money especially the central location.

Small stuffy rooms, no air con, noisy, women's showers are almost unusable due to small size and there is no privacy when showering. Very funky hostel and not in a good way. Helpful friendly staff.

What I found was that the wifi sucked (not in rooms or on floors higher than 2) so instead of people being social in the common spaces, they were getting the wifi. I met about 2 people in my 4 days which was quite disappointing

Lockers in the rooms, great location, so close to the main square and good clubs. Staff are consistently unfriendly however. Upon arrival we checked in with the woman with the shortest temper I have ever seen. The prospect of a group of 6 people paying separately, and sometimes in different currencies, baffled her. My friend was also verbally abused by a male member of staff for no reason other than "he has just started working here and isn't used to the night shift". Better hostels nearby.
