It seems a little difficult to make my mind to give such comment. But it is really out of my heart. When I arrived there, the receptionist is fine. what upset me is the cleaness that our bedding had not got changed at all, we could even feel the smelll. And what's more upset is loud noise made during the late night, we got waken up by loud talking of other mates along the corridor, but no one came stopping them!!! and when I turned to the receptionist to make a complaint, nobody cared about that

Only stayed here for one night, and it wasn't entirely a good experience. Bunk beds are too sturdy and they shook everytime the girl beneath me moved. There was only one plug in the room that I could see and it was right next to another girls bed. The location was unbeatable, right in the center of town, but that means you hear people partying into the night. Wifi only works on first floor.

The location is great and the cleaness is good. We've a not so good surprise to be asked to pay by cash (in local currency) and not by credit card as expected. This requirement wasn't present on the Hostelworld. If I know that I would choose another hostel. In general it worths what you pay for.

It is very unfortunate that this hostel cannot get their act together because it has an amazing location and nice facilities. The staff is so incredibly disorganized; they write everything in a book rather than use a computer. The result is misreading handwriting and placing my friend and I in the wrong room so when we come home at 3am our beds are taken. Our 2nd room had 5 obnoxiously loud italians (1 of who wasn't placed in our room) who smoked weed 5x/day in the room without repercussion.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hello, Thank you for your stay with us and we are glad to see you enjoyed our location. Regarding the guests that were smoking in your room, the moment we found out about it, the group was warned after the 1st night as the whole hostel is non-smoking and did not smoke again in the building. As for the rooming, our reservation had both you and your friend in the same room, however the group you were staying with had a friend staying in another room and he decided to move himself into your room without our knowledge and was sorted out. Our reception is open 24 hours, so had we been made aware of the problem, we would have been able to help you out immediately. Enjoy the rest of your travels.

!BE CAREFUL WITH THIS HOSTEL! I was greeted with a notice that they changed my booking. This hostel was overbooked and changed my reservation to their sister without consulting me. They still charged our party the same rate. This all happened at 11 p.m., after we had walked around for 30 min. We then had to walk more despite being tired. During my stay, I was woken up in the middle of the early morning by the front desk. They accused our party of underpaying. They we insistent to see invoice.

The website was misleading about the types of payment accepted. If you don't want to accept euros, you should say so on the website. Paying was extremely difficult, and even getting change was a hassle.

Due to a problem with heating in our allocated room, we were moved to the sister hostel, Prague Tyn. The hostel was great, brand new with lovely staff. The free breakfast of cereal & sandwich was good & the location great. Only a few down sides: *we'd originally booked an en-suite dorm, this was not. Also the ladies shower on our corridor was out of use. *a mirror in the dorm room would have been a nice touch. *santory bins would have been handy in the ladies toilets too. Great place!

My sister and I had a very good impression of the hostel! Despite of that over the weekend there was full house, it was kept very clean, our private twin room was very good and comfortable. The only thing was that in our neighbours were rather noisy coming back after the weekend party, so if I didnt have earplugs, then for sure i wouldnt have had too much sleep . Breakfast was good enough, we get towels, there is internet for free (isnt very fast though). In general this is a good hostel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Prague Square Hostel! Not only is it perfectly located for whatever you have planned to do in Prague, but the staff are incredibly friendly and gave us excellent recommendations on all things Prague. The beds were very comfortable and the showers and toilets very clean. I would 150% recommend this place for youngsters looking for a place that gives you a lot of bang for your buck! Keep up the good work!

The location could not have been better, and that was my main concern when picking hostels so I was very happy. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the Old Town Center and the Astronomical Clock. Rooms were fine, free breakfast was very convienent,. We had a shower inside our room which was nice. No complaints, I would stay here again.
