M & K Guesthouse was fine for what we paid. Staff were helpful & cleaned our room each day. We went in May which is not the high season so there wasn't a lot of other travellers which meant the atmosphere wasn't great but that is not their fault, all places were the same that time of year. Only thing i didn't like was there was no window in our room but other than that it was fine for a budget hostel.

Staff were friendly and upgraded us to a bigger room for no extra charge. Room was clean. Location was good, a bit of a walk to the beach but the market and mall were close.

A great little guesthouse with lots of character. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Room was great and really clean. Good location as it isnt too noisy.

It was not what we looked at the website. The reception was awfull. It was wuite near thr center and beach however 10 minute walk.

Excellent value. The owners are awesome, friendly, helpful people. Rooms are clean. I stayed in one with a nice little balcony. Some rooms have no windows, which might not be nice. If you want to be right on the beach, you should know this is a bit of a walk away. I didn't mind (maybe 10 min). Lots of stores, internet cafes, restaurants, bars on the street near the hostel.

Great owners. A bit of a walk (15min) from the beach, but I didn't mind. Owner helped setup a Koh Phi Phi tour. The best western breakfast in the area.

The staff and Aussie owner (we unfortunately didn't get to meet his wife) of M&K Guesthouse are all fantastic people. Everyone was helpful and always smiling so it was a great place to come back to every night. Our room was spacious/clean and the Elvis bar and classic tunes downstairs gave the guesthouse character. It was a quick walk to shopping and the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

Not all the clean but OK..

M&K had great service and was a very fun atmosphere. It was the owners birthday and they had a party at their bar for him so we got to enjoy some fun with them. It is very close to many restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. They're also very helpful and helped us book our Phi Phi island trip. They also had tasty food, I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Patong Beach.

I only had one night at M & K Guesthouse, and it was wonderful. The Aussie owners are super friendly and helped to accomadate all of my needs. I've stayed in many places througout my travels in SE Asia and this was by far one of my favorite places to stay!
