Worst place ever in NZ and in my life. dirty flore. staff party was too loud to sleep in the night. hot water last 2min. bed is not confortable. you can't bring ur own food or drink. i'm very disappointed about this place. I should not trust all the good reviews. I don't want anyone anymore to upset for your good time.

Awesome hostel! Great staff! Great place! Breakfast was AMAZING

Our room was fine but the kitchen was very poor. Not very clean with an overcrowded dirty fridge and not enough glasses etc. We ate at the bar twice - the second time our food took nearly an hour to arrive (in a nearly empty bar) and our order wasn't even correct. Half our group were paying full price so not having the cheap backpacker meal. Staff only made their apologies & offered free dessert & tea/coffee after overhearing us talking about the review we'd leave! Tip: eat elsewhere.

One of the best hostels I stayed at. There was free wifi, bike (rental), free breakfast (incl. making your own wafels). The hostel was very clean and all the rooms are 4 bed-ensuite. You are allowed to bring your own alcohol and they have tons of movies to watch. It is a 5-minute walk to town, but if you would like to go to the beach you'll have to by bus or car. The staff was awesome. Especially Mac :)
