Fair enough it is only $17 a night but it's the worse place I have ever stayed we were there one night which was a disaster the fire alarm went off at 5 In the morning and when we went down on the morning to check out not as much as a sorry was said awful place... Not to mention you have to checkin in a casino to which we were ask for ID before we could enter

Very rude staff on desk. Room was overbooked so we had to move at 3:30 am. Only good thing is the price.

Excellent location and value for money, staff could have been friendly and more helpful, not much atmosphere in terms of music or people around the common room, rooms we okay and served there purpose of being somewhere to store our stuff and sleep

My time at the hostel was greeeaaat because of the atmosphere,but i came back home with a lot of bites.

You get what you pay for. So if you travel and use a minimum budget for an acommo then it's right place to stay!!!

Worst hostel I have ever stayed at. Would not recommend to anyone. Toilets were disgusting. Didn't flush and were full of... Well you can imagine! Of the 3 showers available 1 was locked. 1 had no water and 1 had been used as a alternative toilet. When I mentioned this to staff they seemed unconcerned. Said they were aware and wouldn't be fixing it as they close in a month. Avoid at all costs!!

I had no window in my room and they never cleaned the rooms. But the people I met there were very nice ;) The hostel was 30 min away from the city centre, so you have to walk a lot!

Welcoming not so good. Reception doesn't respect the hours noticed.

useful just for short term in Brisbane

I understand that this hostel is over a pub but I wasn't expecting (very loud) live music until 3am. There were numerous signs in the kitchen asking people to wash their dishes but no dish washing liquid or clean tea towels provided. The toilets were FILTHY. The reception was often not attended-particularly annoying at 10am and 2pm - . Air con not working in some rooms. A number of signs stated the entire hostel had security cameras - surely a breach of privacy (bedrooms and bathrooms)

So dirty everywhere, the floors, the rooms, the kitchen, horrible smell!!! So loud the whole night, noise from the street and the pub of the hostel and the backyard cause there were no windows to closem just open walls like being outside while being inside. Just the bathroom was clean. BED BUGS everywhere, the reason why me left !!!!!!!! We got bitten !!!!!
