Had a pretty bad stay over there. People wouldnt turn off the lights before 2 am, cellphones were ringing during the night, people were talking late and night AND early in the morning, owner or manager was passed out on the sofa and snoring like an horse and his cellphone kept ringing, very very unprofessional. Had to share the bathroom with clients of the bar. Wouldnt recommend this hostel unless you dont plan on sleeping at all and would like to live in a pub and share a room with 25 people.

I stayed in the 22-bed dormitory. The room is separated into four areas: a sitting area and three sleeping areas. A good amount of privacy for what it was. Keep in mind, the hostel is atop a pub, so this place is an especially great stay if you like to get your drink on. Short (less than five minute) walk to MRT station through Little India, with lots of great food options. And the mascot, Jessica, is a real sweetheart who knows she owns the place.

Breakfast was delicious and always on time, no matter how hung over the staff was. The best part of this hostel is by far the beer garden where one can hang out on the free internet before setting off to explore the city. I'm a solo traveler and I like to stay in places where I can meet people, and this had the perfect environment for that. The showers aren't spotless, but other than that, I'd say it was epic.
