We found Victor to be extremely friendly and helpful with any request we had. Our room was spotless as we're the hallways and all public areas. The kitchen was well equipped , clean and had a good variety of utensils and supplies. We can not think of a single thing that we did not like. The wi-fi worked well in our room #304, the bed was comfortable and clean. We have already recommended it to others.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Good wifi, clean rooms with towels, nice hot water and a well equipped kitchen. One of the best and cheapest hostels I've stayed at.

Great hostel, big rooms and bathrooms cleaned when requested. The staff are really helpful with all queries and recommendations on tour operators and places to eat. Good location just up the road from the main square and near the start of the hike to the look out over town. I booked a double room for one person and they gave me a discount on the double price. Would stay here again when in Banos.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, easy walk into town. There was a bit of traffic noise, but it disappeared at night so we slept well.

Stayed in a double bed room right up the top of the hostel. Room was nice and had good wifi. Had to pay for use of computers but good laundry service. Family owners very nice and helpful.

I\'ve been to Banos twice now, and stayed in Princess Maria both times. The rooms are always very clean, showers are big and powerful with plentiful hot water, the location is excellent (just 3 blocks from the main square) and the facilities are very good (wifi, cheap use of computer, kitchen and laundry service). The staff are excellent, very friendly and always helpful and it is extremely safe. For the price it\'s amazing. Highly recommended.

We had a great time. Saulo, son of the owner, speaks English well and was very helpful in all ways. It seems as though they cannot do enough for you. We would return again if the opportunity presents itself.

Everything worked well, nice hot shower, comfortable bed, kitchen was well-equipped. It's a friendly, family-run hostel and well worth the money. Just a few blocks up the hill from the center park. I'd stay there again.

Great hostel a short walk from the main plaza and the staff are very helpful and the owners son is multilingual! The place is spotless and also has a TV and DVD collection downstairs as well as a TV in your room for the occassional night in. Kitchen is large with plenty of cutlery etc. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very cute, clean hostel. My only complaint would be that there isn´t a proper television-relaxation room. It is impossible to relax and watch a movie when you are right beside the check in-eating area-bathroom-internet. Otherwise great location and good value.

Best Hostel in Bano's and possibly in Ecuador! Friendly, accommodating, clean, safe! Princesa Maria has it all! The most lovely family runs this beautiful hostel. Nice to have a place that feels like home when you're backpacking! This was our second stay at Princesa Maria, we loved it so much we had to come back! Relaxing, nice common area, quick laundry service, helpful knowledgeable staff! Highly recommended!!!

You really get an awful lot for your $7 a night here. It was a clean and friendly place, by far the highlight though is the kindness of the host family.

We love Princesa Maria! Wonderful hostel in a wonderful town. The family is so lovely and accommodating! Saulo even found way to extend our stay during Carnival when everything else was booked out! It isn't even as far as it sounds in the description from the main part of town, 3 min walk, if that. We booked for 2 nights and ended up extending our stay to 5 nights. The communal kitchen is a little small. The staff do an excellent job at keeping the place clean at all times. highly recommended!!!
