the place is excelent...also the people...the only thing was that they didn't say the truth about some tours we took, so ask every single detail if you take some. the felucca thing is the best we did in egypt, if you are hippie enough, do it without any doubt!!!the place is excelent...also the people...the only thing was that they didn't say the truth about some tours we took, so ask every single detail if you take some. the felucca thing is the best we did in egypt, if you are hippie enough, do it without any doubt!!!...Close

If you are not staying in Luxor only to visit touristic sites, the Princess Hotel will be the ideal place for you. There, you can chat with the very warm and welcoming staff, taste some traditional food and beverages and enjoy a delicious chicha on the roof of the hotel. The staff can also help you to organize nice trips around Upper Egypt. Words cannot describe the warmth and hospitality that were shown to us upon our arrival at Princess Hostel. The manager, Mr. Massud, treated us as if we were part of his family, even letting us ride his motorbike to Al-Karnak. The room was clean and spacious. Great place! We have had a great four nights here at the Princess Hotel. The room is basic and large, with AMAZING shower pressure. The location is fanastic, in "local Luxor" and feels removed from the tourist traps. Our time in Luxor would not have been the same had we not met Steve, a long term resident here at the Princess. A wealth of knowledge, good fun and a great bloke! If you do stay be sure to say G'day. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Michael and Sally
