Private Accomodation Hostel Antonio Reviews

The place is inside of the old palace and as such imbedded into a very old and partly decrepit infrastructure that might emanate unexpected odors here and there. At this guesthouse everything worked and the hosts were quite friendly and in case of 'Grandma', a very life-loving lady, exceptional. In fact, it is she who speaks English and gives you the ins and outs of the place and the area. Follow her recommendations and you will have a superb experience there.

Although we booked at Hostel Antonio we were brought by the landlord to Hostel Diocletian where we retrieved the keys and were brought to another building to our room. The accommodation was very lovely and although we booked a double room with a shared bathroom, we were given a room with a private bathroom at no additional cost. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. We saw her later on in the city and she chatted with us to see how we were enjoying the city and the room. Highly recommend

This accommodation is a great for what you pay for. It is super cheap and it does the trick. Basically it is a room in this family's house. But the grandma that runs the place is super nice. She recommended some great restaurants and even helped with our cell. The bathroom took some getting used to because the shower curtain doesn't fully cover the bathtub and the shower head isn't attached to the wall so you feel like you might spray the entire bathroom. The internet is really great and fast.

This was a great place to stay as the rooms are in a semi-detached house with the family living in another house. You've got a bathroom, kitchen, living room to yourself and is a great place if you wish to relax and spend some quiet time in Dubrovnik. The location may be a bit harder to find as it's in between narrow streets but the good tradeoff is that it's totally quiet and peaceful so you'll bound to get a good night's rest. I really enjoyed this place and will come back to it some time!
