Excellent hostel, great location, friendly staff. Such a fun and sociable garden with a bar that doesn't disturb the dorms. We met so many other backpackers here and San Cristobal is a real party town! Free breakfast was tasty. The bar gave out free cocktails one night. The dorms are comfy and spacious with a big locker each. One of the best hostels iv ever stayed in and so cheap too,

Good place to stay for e few nights. Good breakfast. Choice of crepes or traditional Mexican breakfast. Clean bathrooms and rooms are cleaned daily. Only problem is the wi fi cuts out most of the time. Your lucky if you can check email without it not taking forever to load the page.

Very, very good all round. The private rooms are massive and very clean, hostel is in a great location and offers nightly activities to get people together around the fireplace. We had a number of great nights with really cheap, great tasting food and free booze! The free breakfast, although disorganised and slow, is awesome and adds to the value of this place. The garden outside is a great chilling place. Cleanliness of the male bathrooms could perhaps be improved.

Upon reaching San Cristobal I was immediately reminded of the works of Phillip Pullman. In his seminal tome, 'The Northern Lights', he tells of the journey of Lyra Belacqua, an adolescent searching for love and meaning in the dark undertones of child slavery. As she transverses the arctic wastes of Svalbard, she comes across myriad friends, including the bear king Iorek and the balloon wielding Lee Scoresby. Basically San Cristobal is freezing. The hostel had two bathrooms , was sick bruv.

Really cool hostel with a great atmosphere! The long nights in the bar or at the fireplace were pure fun! Staff is super nice and helpful, facilities are amazing and the breakfast is good. Basically everything you can ask for in a Hostel :-) Only the Wifi was very slow, but come on, you're on holidays...

Awesome hostel! Near to the main square, staff very helpful, bathrooms are clean and good, breakfast is great. The only thing I didn't like was the wifi that never works!

Really good hostel! Amazing breakfasts and free shots. Comfiest beds ever. Good location and great atmosphere. Only things are that the Wi-Fi sucks and because loads of the staff are foreign they can't always give local advice

Best hostel ever! I can't fault it - comfy beds, delicious breakfast, hot shower, close to everywhere, and easy to meet other travellers around the bonfire or in the bar. Incredible value for money. But the best part has to be the staff, who pretty much threw me a party for my birthday! Thank you Nigel and all the volunteers for the food, drinks, cake, and (live) music - I'll be back... :)
