Excellent hostel. Kitchen is great, lots of space and utensils etc. breakfast is very good. Room was very nice, comfy beds, good air con. Bathrooms are nice, hot showers and plenty of room, cleaned often. Wifi worked well. Lockers in the room are good, only downside not many plugs to recharge electrical items in the room but plenty downstairs in the common area. Organised a tango show through the hostel which was fantastic, would definitely recommend! Most staff were nice, not all too friendly.

It's really unfortunate that the staff here was unbelievably rude because the hostel itself was really nice, great rooms and very clean. There were a few girls working during the day who were helpful but the men that took over later was not. Ask a question and they had a 2 word response or an I don't know and then would go back to playing online and ignore you. The other downside of this place is that there is only one kitchen and it was often too crowded to cook.

There is a big common area, but the atmosphere is not particularly prone to meeting others. Wifi can be erratic or slow at times, and the computers don't have USB ports. Staff girls are really cool, males are correct, all helpful. Air conditioning good. Overall the hostel is a bit worn out. Lockers satisfactory. Walking distance to Subte (beware you can't buy tickets at San Juan station). At evening the location can become a bit sketchy but it is not straight dangerous. Breakfast is basic

I was in Puerto Limon Hostel just for the stopover and it was good for a night. The atmosphere could be better. The staff is friendly but felt as they don't like their job so much. Also not so easy to get in touch with people.

Very good hostel with great kitchen and welcoming, social atmosphere. Rooms nice and bright, toilets very clean most of the time and generous breakfast included. Location very good also; just a few blocks from the subway and smack in the middle of one of BA's more friendly, non-touristic neighborhoods. Definitely recommended.

Rooms small but clean. Great outdoor area to hang and meet fellow travellers, most night staff will put on an inexpensive dinner ifor everyone to enjoy . Safe area of BA to explore the city from. Would happily stay again! Cheers guys

This was our first stop in Argentina and the hostel on the whole was good. However, there different staff members we spoke to were absolutely convinced we would not get a taxi to take us to Areoport Jorge Newbury around 6/6.30am on New Year's Day. This meant we spent New Year's Eve at the airport as they were very conviced. This is not true!!! There were loads of taxi's, but you have to get them off the street. You may wish to note this for future reference.

Great hostel! Common rooms are spacious, rooms are nice and cool (with aircon), staff is great and constantly makes social events e.g. pizza night. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed here for Xmas, everyone made different food and shared which was nice! The hostel is in a good location and has regular dinners in the evening which is great for meeting people. The staff were friendly too. The kitchen could be cleaner. Stayed in a private room which was good, had a fan that was sufficient for the Buenos Aires heat.

Kitchen is massive and amazing for making own meals. Wifi works well all the time. Staff were lovely and helpful with everything, and organised homemade pizza night which was delicious! San Telmo is a gorgeous area, so many cute cafes and good restaurants around. Not super close to the "main sights" but it's easy to walk to town centre. Breakfast is a bit lacking (only bread rolls, tea, coffee, corn flakes). Bit hard to socialise if you don't speak Spanish but overall an amazing stay!

Nice place, nice people :-)

We really enjoyed our stay, the kitchen is big and the supermarket was very close. It has a good location in the San Telmo area. Bathrooms were very good and we got free towels. There was lots of space to hang out, definitely good value for money as breakfast is included as well. However we had lots of problems with the air con in our room leaking and soaking everybody's bags. The staff were very unhelpful all weekend and just gave us a bucket to catch the water.

I booked a single room and was put in room 14. There was a lot of space and everything was very clean. The air in the room was very stale though. There are 2 computers with internet connection that one can use for free. The location is nice. From the intl. airport EZE one needs to take bus Nr 8 (!), the information about the bus is out of date. It takes more than 2 hours from EZE to Placa de Mayo with bus Nr 8. Then around 30 minutes to the hostel with a heavy backpack.

I was happy enough in this hostel for a few days, huge kitchen, comfortable dorms, plenty of hot water in the showers. There wasn't a huge vibe for meeting people but it was a nice place to chill out. Staff was helpful and willing to answer questions about the city and the hostel whenever needed

This is an awesome hostel if you are looking to relax. We were upgraded to the superior double room And it was better than most of hotel chain rooms in Canada.

I think we ended up staying in this hostel for 10 days and originally planned for only 5. We loved everything about it. The staff was excellent, it has a great kitchen and patio area where you can have asados. It was also clean and just had a really nice welcoming feel.

One of the best value hostels in San Telmo ... big kitchen, courtyard with parilla grill, and an interior with a an antique/modern industrial theme, if that makes sense. Put it together with internet that functions well most of the time, and you've got a great base for a long term stay in Buenos Aires!

Great place to stay! The bathroom was clean and bright. The staff really nice. I'd come back for sure.

San Telmo is the best neighborhood to stay in - location is perfect. The staff is both friendly and extremely professional. The common area is cozy and the WiFi is good. It's easy to meet other travelers. Highly recommended.
