We had to wait over 2 hours for the room we'd booked and the staff were very unapologetic, did not communicate the situation to us and were far from being accommodating, friendly and organised. I was highly disappointed.

Amazing view of the Ganges from the rooftop restaurant! The restaurant itself was great with tasty, cheap food and live music. The Guest House is very difficult to find...beware of Puja's touts who will lead you the long way around the confusing backstreets...then expect a tip. Hostel has a bit of an eerie dark feel to it. Great access to the river- 5 min walk to boats and Ghats.
