Overall it was a pleasant stay, we managed to get our laundry cleaned for our tournament the next day which was a plus! I would have preferred it if we were allowed to do our own laundry. The hostel does get noisy at times since its located behind pubs and bars, but luckily the noise was minimal. On a personal note, our room was clean but the sheets were slightly torn. We kept the room cold, which was nice and Ithe showers could use a new coat of paint. We had a great time and will come back!

Great location and good value for money. Place is a little dingy, but cannot complain for low cost. Padlock on front gate inconvenient, room walls bare and cracked, and dirty bed covers. Staff was helpful. Kitchen looked equipped, but had not used during our stay.

Nice atmosphere, good services, nice staff, good location to get quick in the shopping center but very noisy at night; that's why I have put " average" on 'location'.

The owner of the hostel was very kind in giving us an air-con room to use when he found out that we were using the room just to place our bags for one day, even though we booked a room with only a fan. He also helped us to arrange for an airport transfer in a taxi large enough to fit five people. Toilets and shower facilities were abundant and clean.

Pujangga Homestay is a nice litle place to stay. It is clean and tidy. Everything is in walking distance and restorants are just around the corner. We had a good time!

Would recommend this place to anyone including my mid-seventies parents. Very clean and very helpful. Kitchen facilities are great for travellers. The bathroom facilities are beyond excellent even though they are shared. The rooms are mostly dark due to no external windows but this was not a drawback except for the obvious oversleeping syndrome. Secure and friendly, will definitely return.

Location is great, with lot of foodcourt around, pub and restaurant. Nothing to say about the cleanliness, it\'s not perfect but we\'re in a guesthouse, and that\'s were the problem is : we definitively felt as unwanted guests in the house with 2 very unfriendly guy at the reception (a 3rd one was fine but not always here). so it was missing everything that make a guesthouse a great experience : an atmosphere. In KL there is plenty of other guesthouse with same facilities but with friendly staff

Fantastic place, clean and great service. We have been told it closes 15th January 2012 due to the local government threats to fine under fire regs, such a massive shame as we really enjoyed it there

My third time staying at this homestay. If you just need a bed, air con for the night, this is the place for value 4 $. The location is good as it's near jalan bukit bintang. But too bad they are closing after three weeks as it's not making any profit!

Actually it's a nice hostel, but it's difficult to getting any places, difficult to get transportation, and the room are very small for dormitory.
