Really lovely home like place with nice staff and good breakfast. Only minus is that the hole place is quite freezing and little pit walk up hill from the city.

Hot water was great, and the pancakes for breakfast were nice! one of the main walking streets was quite a few blocks down a hill, and the man walked us halfway there so he could make sure we were going the right way. It was a bit isolated and out of the way

Nice famlily-like Hostel with nice stuff. It is not located in the very centre of the town Puno but walking there from the City-centre (Plaza de Armas) is less then 10 minutes. Breakfast is great and the facilities are new and clean. Comfortable beds...

I loved my stay at Puma and this comes down to one factor that beats other hostels hands down: Freida and Enrique, the owners. Their courtesy and welcoming demeanour is just what you need after a long coach ride in. They helped me book tours and coaches (in fact I don´t think I booked anything myself whilst in Puno!). They gave me extra blankets (three extra!) for those cold Puno nights in the dry season. And most importantly, they treated me like one of their own. Best of love to both :-)

There was nothing specific but it just had a dull, cold feel to the hostel.

Great people who took care of us when we were sick. The two owners were very helpful, still, there was no heating. However, one of the better hostels in Puno. It is highly recommended. They even booked our bus to Cuzco. Thank you for all your help! Gill and Stacey from Canada

The couple running this hostel were fantastic and went well out of their way to assist us. We would definitely recommend this hostel just based on them. The hostel was very clean and despite it being a little chilly, we were offered extra blankets.

Very homely place to stay, friendly anowners, tea on arrival, very fast internet, hot showers, good value for money. It is a 10 min downhill walk from the hostel to the main plaza and shopping/food street. i would recommend this place. The only drawback was that the owner asked me to turn off/get off the internet at 10pm.

Family oriented, great people in helping you book buses and tours. Calm and relaxing, good after coming (or partying) from Cusco or Arequipa.

Everything was easy at this hostel - good cheap tours, we managed to get our beds at 5 am, and there was even a cheap taxi service down to the bus station provided! Wrap up warm at night, but everything else was fine.

The owners of the hotel were really nice. They help you out with booking trips, bustickets etc. The modem of the internet broke down and they immediatly bought à new one. The shower was clean and warm. Definetly should go back
