I wrote an email to the hostel telling them that my hour of arrival had been changed, and asked for a reply but it didnt happen. once we got there we had to pay everything at once and not at the end how is suposse to do in the hostels at the moment of check out. During the night we needed towels and went up stairs looking for help but no one from the staff came for helping us, they didn't even open the door. Also the hostel has not heater and puno is very cold. Is very sorry to write this.

It's a little far from the main square but overall is a pretty nice hostel.
Enrique and Frida are very warm, kind and always eager to help: they made our stay feel like home. We recommend the tours to Uros and Sillustani you can buy from the hostel, they are really good. Enrique and Frida always cared to know if we arrived to the pick up time and place for the tours. Big bathroom, hot water, big bedroom with comfortable beds. Hostel not too close to the main square but that was not a big deal, you can easily walk or take a cab to/from the hotel for a few soles.
Hot showers, great wifi, and an excellent price make this hostel a good deal, but the hosts make it a very pleasant stay. The family provides a small breakfast, friendly greeting, and suggestions for Titicaca and Inca excursions. You can bargain down the price of the lake excursion. It's not located in the center, but it's a ten-minute walk through a rather safe city to the best restaurants, 25 minutes to the lake.
