Wonderful place and staff. Highly recommended. Juan & Gabi (owners), together with Cate & Gerome (staff) have set the tone and ambience perfectly, tranquil but helpful.

They need more shower facilities. Only two bathrooms for the entire hostel. Besides that everything else was ok. Free yoga class was really good and the stuff did everything to please the visitors.

There would not have been a better place to spend my time in Montevideo - thanks to the nice, clean and charming house, the beach just around the corner, the quiet, safe and nice area and above all the great staff that truly made me feel at home and among friends! Thank you for making this week of pure relaxing possible!

BEST HOSTEL!! Great staff! Free yoga classes (minimal charge for mat hire) with fantastic instructor! Super close to the beach! Beautiful quiet suburb. Also very near supermarket, cinema etc. Comfiest bed of my life. Muchas gracias Punto Berro.

The location is a little bit out of town, you need to catch a bus for about half an hour. But the area is safe and there are bars and places to eat nearby. The hostel is failry new so things are clean, however the internet didnīt work while we were there. The staff are really friendly, free yoga, and breakfast was good with a great kitchen to cook you own food.

The nicest hostel I have stayed at! Very clean and gorgeous house - like a large converted upmarket house. Feels like home. Nice bathroom and rooms and a large new kitchen. Staff were very helpful and friendly - easily let me know which buses to catch to bus terminal and the centre of town. Recommend a walk along the Ocean side!
